وفي هذا الصدد، تشجع اللجنة الخاصة الأمين العام على اتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة لاستخدام الموظفين الذين يجيدون لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة في إدارة عمليات حفظ السلام وإدارة الدعم الميداني.

It is noted that the working languages of the Secretariat are English and French, and currently, peacekeeping training documents are translated from English into French where funding is available from voluntary contributions.
وقد ذُكر أيضاً أن لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة هما الإنكليزية والفرنسية، وحالياً تترجم وثائق التدريب على عمليات حفظ السلام من الإنكليزية إلى الفرنسية حيث يتوفر التمويل لذلك من المساهمات الطوعية.

It requested the SecretaryGeneral " to ensure the strict implementation of the resolutions establishing language arrangements for both the official languages and the working languages of the Secretariat " , and invited " Member States to do likewise " .
وطلبت إلى الأمين العام " أن يكفل التنفيذ التام للقرارات التي تحدد الترتيبات اللغوية سواء بالنسبة للغات الرسمية أو لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة " ودعت " الدول الأعضاء إلى أن تحذو الحذو نفسه " .

وتدل جميع إعلانات الشواغر على أن لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة هما الفرنسية والانكليزية.

That demand and that vigilance, which we share with all other linguistic groups, is reflected in the implementation of resolution 61/266, on multilingualism, which is understood as achieving parity among the six official languages of the Organization and between the two working languages of the Secretariat.
فهذا الطلب وهذه الحيطة، اللذان تتشاطرهما مع كل المجموعات اللغوية الأخرى، يتجسدان في تنفيذ القرار 61/266، بشأن تعدد اللغات، والذي يفهم على أنه تحقيق للمساواة بين اللغات الست الرسمية للمنظمة وبين لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة.

)ح( تقتصر المرافعات أمام الفريق عادة على العريضة الأصلية التي ترفع بها القضية، مشفوعة ببيانات وردود موجزة، يجوز أن تقدم شفهيا أو كتابة، بإحدى لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة.

24. Reaffirms the need to respect the equality of each of the two working languages of the Secretariat, reaffirms also the use of additional working languages in specific duty stations as mandated, and in this regard requests the Secretary-General to ensure that vacancy announcements specify the need for either of the working languages of the Secretariat, unless the functions of the post require a specific working language;
24 - تؤكد من جديد ضرورة احترام التساوي بين كل من لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة وتؤكد من جديد أيضا استخدام لغات عمل إضافية في مراكز عمل محددة وفقا لما هو مقرر، وتطلب في هذا الصدد إلى الأمين العام أن يكفل أن تنص الإعلانات عن الشواغر على الحاجة إلى إحدى لغتي العمل في الأمانة العامة، ما لم تستلزم مهام الوظيفة الشاغرة لغة عمل محددة؛

The delegation of Japan would like to draw the attention of the Assembly to paragraph 3 of the draft resolution, in which the General Assembly requests the Secretary-General to ensure that personnel recruited by the different bodies of the Organization have a command and use at least one of the six official languages, in addition to one working language of the Secretariat.
يود وفد اليابان أن يسترعي انتبـــاه الجمعية إلى الفقرة ٣ من مشروع القرار التي تطلب فيها الجمعيـــة العامة إلى اﻷمين العام التحقق من أن الموظفين الذين تعينهم مختلف هيئات المنظمة يتقنون ويستعملون على اﻷقل إحدى اللغات الرسمية الست باﻹضافة إلى إحدى لغتي العمل في اﻷمانة العامة.
