11. In the area of human trafficking, the Trafficking in Persons Protocol, supplementing the Palermo Convention, requires the criminalization of the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, through the use of fraudulent and deceptive means for the purpose of exploitation.

The Protocol further states that the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of a child for the purpose of exploitation shall be considered " trafficking in persons " even if this does not involve any of the means set forth above.
ويبين البروتوكول في الفقرة (ه) من المادة 3 أيضاً أن تجنيد طفل أو نقله أو تنقيله أو إيواؤه أو استقباله لغرض الاستغلال يعتبر " اتجاراً بالأشخاص " حتى إن لم ينطو على استعمال أي من الوسائل الوارد وصفها أعلاه.

The notion of exploitation of labour in the definition of trafficking in persons allows for a link to be established between the Trafficking in Persons Protocol and ILO Convention concerning Forced Labour, and makes clear that trafficking in persons for the purpose of exploitation is encompassed by the definition of forced or compulsory labour of the Convention.
12- يتيح مفهوم الاستغلال في العمل الوارد في تعريف الاتجار بالأشخاص المجال لإيجاد رابط بين بروتوكول الاتجار بالأشخاص واتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية بشأن العمل الجبري (السخرة)، ويوضّح أن الاتجار بالأشخاص لغرض الاستغلال مشمول في تعريف العمل الجبري أو الإلزامي (السخرة) الوارد في الاتفاقية.
