وإذ تشير إلى أحكام الاتفاقية المتصلة بالتعاون العلمي والتكنولوجي واﻷحكام ذات الصلة من التقرير النهائي لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين المخصص والتقرير النهائي للمؤتمر الخاص للدول اﻷطراف في الاتفاقية، المعقود في الفترة من ١٩ إلى ٣٠ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٤، والوثائق الختامية للمؤتمرات الاستعراضية،

وإذ تشير إلى أحكام الاتفاقية المتصلة بالتعاون العلمي والتكنولوجي واﻷحكام ذات الصلة الواردة في التقرير النهائي لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين المخصص والتقرير النهائي للمؤتمر الخاص للدول اﻷطراف في الاتفاقية، الذي عُقد في الفترة من ١٩ إلى ٣٠ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٤، والوثائق الختامية للمؤتمرات الاستعراضية،

2. Commends to all States parties the final report of the Ad Hoc Group of Governmental Experts, 5/ agreed to by consensus at its last meeting at Geneva on 24 September 1993;
٢ - تزكى لجميع الدول اﻷطراف التقرير النهائي لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين المخصص)٥(، الذي أقره الفريق بتوافق اﻵراء في اجتماعه اﻷخير المعقود في جنيف في ٢٤ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٣؛

Recalling further its resolution 48/65, adopted without a vote on 16 December 1993, in which it commended the final report of the Ad Hoc Group of Governmental Experts to Identify and Examine Potential Verification Measures from a Scientific and Technical Standpoint, BWC/CONF.III/VEREX/9 and Corr.1. agreed to by consensus at its last meeting at Geneva on 24 September 1993,
وإذ تشير كذلك الى قرارها ٤٨/٦٥، المتخذ دون تصويت في ١٦ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، والذي زكت فيه التقرير النهائي لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين المخصص لتحديد وبحث تدابير التحقق المحتملة من وجهة نظر علمية وتقنية)٢(، الذي وافق عليه الفريق بتوافق اﻵراء في اجتماعه اﻷخير المعقود في جنيف في ٢٤ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٣،

وإذ ترحب بالتقرير الختامي، المعتمد بتوافق اﻵراء، لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين المخصص المفتوح لجميع الدول اﻷطراف في اتفاقية حظر استحداث وانتاج وتخزين اﻷسلحة البكتريولوجية )البيولوجية( والسمية )التكسينية( وتدمير تلك اﻷسلحة، وفقا لولايته، لتحديد ودراسة تدابير التحقق الممكنة من الناحية العلمية والتقنية)٥(،

The General Assembly would recall its resolution 48/65, adopted without a vote at the forty-eighth session, in which it “commended the final report of the Ad Hoc Group of Governmental Experts to Identify and Examine Potential Verification Measures from a Scientific and Technical Standpoint”.

Notes that a majority of States parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction requested the depositary Powers to convene a special conference in order to consider the final report of the Ad Hoc Group of Governmental Experts to Identify and Examine Potential Verification Measures from a Scientific and Technical Standpoint; 2/
١ - تلاحظ أن أغلبية من الدول اﻷطراف في اتفاقية حظر استحداث وإنتاج وتخزين اﻷسلحة البكتريولوجية )البيولوجية( والسمية )التكسينية( وتدمير تلك اﻷسلحة قد طلبت الى الدول الوديعة عقد مؤتمر خاص من أجل النظر في التقرير النهائي لفريق الخبراء الحكوميين المخصص لتحديد وبحث تدابير التحقق المحتملة من وجهة نظر علمية وتقنية)٢(؛
