In order to facilitate and enhance the consultative relationship of the Council with a steadily expanding, increasingly active and influential non-governmental organization sector, the resources of the Non-Governmental Organizations Section had been a matter of concern to the Committee, given the ever-increasing volume of work.
34 - ولكي يتسنى تسهيل وتعزيز العلاقة الاستشارية للمجلس بقسم منظمات غير حكومية يتسع باضطراد ويتزايد نشاطه وتأثيره، كانت الموارد المخصصة لقسم المنظمات غير الحكومية مبعث انشغال للجنة، نظرا للتزايد المستمر في حجم العمل.

With respect to the analysis of the organizational structure and personnel and technical resources of the Non-Governmental Organizations Section of the United Nations (A/54/520), paragraph 29 clearly indicated that the Section's workload would increase substantially and that the Section would have to find new ways to meet its goals.
