، الذي اعتمده المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق الانسان، المعقود في فيينا في الفترة من ٤١ إلى ٥٢ حزيران/يونيه ٣٩٩١، وتأكيده أن الحقوق الانسانية للمرأة والطفلة تشكل جزءا غير قابل للتصرف من حقوق الانسان العالمية وجزءا لا يتجزأ من هذه الحقوق ولا ينفصل عنها، وكذلك تأكيده أن العنف القائم على أساس الجنس وجميع أشكال المضايقة والاستغلال الجنسيين منافون لكرامة اﻹنسان وقدره ويجب القضاء عليهم،

Chile signed the Declaration and Programme of Action of the World Conference on Human Rights (Vienna, 1993), article 18 of section I of which states that “gender-based violence and all forms of sexual harassment and exploitation, including those resulting from cultural prejudice and international trafficking, are incompatible with the dignity and worth of the human person, and must be eliminated ...”.
وقعت شيلي على إعلان وبرنامج عمل المؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان )فيينا ١٩٩٣( الذي تنص المادة ١٨ من القسم اﻷول منه على " أن العنف القائم على أساس الجنس وجميع أشكال المضايقة الجنسية والاستغلال الجنسي، بما في ذلك تلك الناشئة عن التحيز الثقافي والاتجار الدولي، منافية لكرامة اﻹنسان وقدره ويجب القضاء عليها ... " .
