The present report is the fifth report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
هذا هو التقرير الخامس للأمين العام عن الأطفال والنزاع المسلح في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية.

The conflict parties listed in the annexes to the annual report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict must elaborate and implement such action plans without delay, in collaboration with the United Nations.
ولا بد أن تضع جميع الأطراف المشاركة في نزاع مسلح والواردة أسماؤها في مرفقات التقرير السنوي للأمين العام عن الأطفال والنزاع المسلح خطط العمل هذه وتنفذها دون إبطاء، بالتعاون مع الأمم المتحدة.

In this regard, the Council further encourages the Secretary-General to ensure that adequate child protection expertise is available to the Resident Coordinator in situations listed in the annexes of the annual reports of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict.
وفي هذا الصدد، يشجع المجلس الأمين العام كذلك على كفالة توفير الخبرات الكافية في مجال حماية الأطفال للمنسق المقيم في الحالات المدرجة في مرفقات التقارير السنوية للأمين العام عن الأطفال والنزاع المسلح.

Significantly, no case of recruitment or use of children by UPDF or its auxiliary forces has come to the attention of the Task Force, as reflected in the inputs on Uganda to the eighth report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict.
ومن الأهمية بمكان أنه لم تبلغ إلى علم فرقة العمل المعنية بالرصد والإبلاغ في أوغندا أي حالة تجنيد للأطفال أو استخدامهم من جانب قوات الدفاع الشعبية الأوغندية أو قواتها المعاونة، على النحو المبيَّن في المدخلات المتعلقة بأوغندا والواردة في التقرير الثامن للأمين العام عن الأطفال والنزاع المسلح.

(a) Calling their attention to the fact that the Security Council has received the second report by the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict in Myanmar (S/2009/278);

1. At its 17th meeting, on 5 September 2008, the Working Group examined the second report by the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict in Chad (S/2008/532), introduced by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General.

The present report is the first report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict in South Sudan since South Sudan seceded from the Sudan on 9 July 2011.

3. In 2011, the annual report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict (A/65/820-S/2011/250) listed the pro-Government tribal militias and the Al-Houthi armed group as parties that recruit and use children in armed conflict.

At its 32nd meeting, on 30 September 2011, the Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict examined the fourth report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict in the Sudan (S/2011/413), covering the period from January 2009 to February 2011.

According to the most recent report of the Secretary-General on children and armed conflict, there were 20 reported incidents of association of children with SAF in Darfur, in 2009, involving 65 children.
