At its 3934th meeting, on 30 September 1998, the Security Council, in accordance with article 12, subparagraph 3 (c), of the Statute of the International Tribunal, established in resolution 1200 (1998) a list of 18 candidates, taking due account of the adequate representation of the principal legal systems of the world.
إن مجلس اﻷمن، في جلسته ٣٩٣٤ المعقودة في ٣٠ أيلول/ سبتمبر ١٩٩٨، ووفقا للفقرة الفرعية ٣ )ج( من المادة ١٢ من النظام اﻷساسي للمحكمة الدولية، أنشأ بقراره ١٢٠٠ )١٩٩٨( قائمة من ١٨ مرشحا، مراعيا التمثيل الكافي للأنظمة القانونية الرئيسية في العالم.
