UNODC efforts in enhancing the Paris Pact initiative and the most recent recommendations of the Paris Pact partners to develop a more integrated regional strategy to deal with drug trafficking, chemical precursor control and drug-related criminal intelligence were also noted.
وأشير أيضا إلى جهود المكتب الرامية إلى تعزيز ميثاق باريس وإلى آخر ما أصدره من توصيات لوضع استراتيجية إقليمية أكثر تكاملا من أجل التصدي للاتجار بالمخدّرات ومراقبة السلائف الكيميائية كما أشير إلى الاستخبارات الجنائية المتعلقة بالمخدّرات.

For most States, the current configuration of the sessions continued to adequately reflect the geographical and political scope needed for effective discussion on and responses to drug trafficking.
ورأت معظم الدول أن النسق الحالي للاجتماعات ما زال يجسّد على الوجه المناسب النطاق الجغرافي والسياسي اللازم لإجراء مناقشات فعّالة واتخاذ تدابير ناجعة في التصدي للاتجار بالمخدّرات.

17. Some delegates emphasized the need for Member States to send their data on drug seizures to UNODC via the annual reports questionnaire in order to facilitate a clearer understanding of international drug trafficking trends.
17- وأكّدت بعض الوفود على ضرورة أن ترسل الدول الأعضاء بياناتها المتعلقة بالكميات المضبوطة من المخدّرات إلى المكتب من خلال الاستبيان الخاص بالتقارير السنوية، بغية تيسير التوصل إلى فهم أوضح للاتجاهات الدولية للاتجار بالمخدّرات.

Recalling its resolution 52/3 of 20 March 2009, in which the Commission stressed the magnitude and complexity of new trends in smuggling illicit drugs through the region and noted the challenges faced by African States along new international drug trafficking routes,
وإذ تستذكر قرارها 52/3 المؤرخ 20 آذار/مارس 2009، الذي أكَّدت فيه على مدى خطورة الاتجاهات الجديدة لتهريب المخدّرات غير المشروعة عبر المنطقة وتعقّد تلك الاتجاهات، وأشارت فيه إلى ما تواجهه الدول الأفريقية الواقعة على طول الدروب الدولية الجديدة للاتجار بالمخدّرات من تحدّيات،

Several representatives provided information on the current situation with regard to drug trafficking in their countries and reported on the detection of new modi operandi used by traffickers to smuggle large quantities of cocaine and heroin into their territories, including the involvement of couriers misusing diplomatic passports and diplomatic pouches.
13- وقدّم عدّة ممثلين معلومات عن الحالة الراهنة للاتجار بالمخدّرات في بلدانهم، وأبلغوا عن كشفهم لأساليب عمل جديدة يستخدمها المهرِّبون لتهريب كميات كبيرة من الكوكايين والهيروين إلى أراضيهم، بوسائل منها استخدام ناقلي مخدّرات يستخدمون جوازات سفر دبلوماسية وحقائب دبلوماسية على نحو غير قانوني.

(a) Identifying and subsequently building cooperative partnerships with the private sector, such as mail courier services, the freight industry (shipping companies and container handlers), chemical and pharmaceutical companies (precursor control), Internet service providers and financial institutions, should form part of the strategic approach adopted by authorities for tackling drug trafficking;
(أ) ينبغي أن يتضمّن النهج الاستراتيجي الذي تتبّعه السلطات للتصدّي للاتجار بالمخدّرات استبانة شراكات تعاونية، ومن ثمّ إقامتها، مع القطاع الخاص مثل خدمات البريد الخاصة وصناعة الشحن (شركات الشحن ومناولة الحاويات) وشركات المنتجات الكيميائية والصيدلانية (مراقبة السلائف) ومقدّمي خدمات الإنترنت والمؤسسات المالية؛
