(a) An assessment at the rates and under the conditions specified below shall be applied to the salaries and such other emoluments of staff members as are computed on the basis of salary, excluding post adjustments, provided that the Registrar may, where he or she deems it advisable, exempt from the assessment the salaries and emoluments of staff members engaged at locality rates.
البند ٣-٣ )أ( تخضع مرتبات الموظفين ومكافآتهم اﻷخرى المحسوبة على أساس المرتب، عدا تسوية مقر العمل، لاقتطاع إلزامي بالمعدلات والشروط المحددة أدناه، على أن يكون للمسجل، حيثما يرى ذلك مستصوبا، حق إعفاء مرتبات ومكافآت الموظفين المعينين وفقا للمعدلات المحلية من الخضوع للاقتطاع اﻹلزامي.

XIV.2 The salary and related emoluments of United Nations staff members are subject to the assessment set out in regulation 3.3 of the Staff Regulations of the United Nations and amendments thereto.
رابع عشر - 2 تخضع مرتبات موظفي الأمم المتحدة وما يتصل بها من مكافآت للاقتطاع الإلزامي المنصوص عليه في البند 3-3 من النظام الأساسي لموظفي الأمم المتحدة والتعديلات التي أُدخلت عليه.
