Such extensions shall be approved if the Contractor has made efforts in good faith to comply with the requirements of this contract but for reasons beyond the Contractor's control has been unable to complete the necessary preparatory work for proceeding to the exploitation stage or if the prevailing economic circumstances do not justify proceeding to the exploitation stage.
وتتم الموافقة على هذه التمديدات إذا كان المتعاقد قد بذل جهودا مخلصة للامتثال لمقتضيات هذا العقد ولكنه لم يستطع لأسباب خارجة عن إرادتــه إتمام الأعمال التحضيريـــة اللازمـــة للانتقال إلى مرحلة الاستغلال أو إذا لم تبرر الظروف الاقتصادية السائدة الانتقال إلى مرحلة الاستغلال.

وتتم الموافقة على هذه التمديدات إذا كان المتعاقد قد بذل جهودا مخلصة للامتثال لمقتضيات هذا العقد ولكنه لم يستطع ﻷسباب خارجة عن إرادته إتمام اﻷعمال التحضيرية اللازمة للانتقال إلى مرحلة الاستغلال أو إذا لم تبرر الظروف الاقتصادية السائدة الانتقال إلى مرحلة الاستغلال.

The delegation noted that the Authority had by 2011 approved 12 contracts for exploration in the Area, many of which would terminate in 2016, by which time it was anticipated that contractors would be ready to move to the exploitation phase.
ولاحظ الوفد أن السلطة وافقت بحلول عام 2011 على 12 عقدا من عقود الاستكشاف في المنطقة، ينتهي الكثير منها في عام 2016، وهو الموعد الذي يُتوقع أن يصبح فيه المتعاقدون جاهزين للانتقال إلى مرحلة الاستغلال.
