Taking note of the active participation of the Islamic countries party to the NPT in the 2005 Review Conference as well as in other relevant multilateral fora and encouraging the continuation of this participation in the preparatory Committees for the 2010 NPT Review Conference;
وإذ يسجل المشاركة النشطة للبلدان الإسلامية الأطراف في معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية ي المؤتمر الاستعراضي لعام 2005 وفي غيره من المنتديات المتعددة الأطراف ذات الصلة، ويشجع استمرار هذه المشاركة في اللجان التحضيرية للمؤتمر الاستعراضي لأطراف معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية لعام 2010،

15. Expresses its appreciation to the COMCEC Coordination Office and the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade for satisfactorily performance of their role as the Secretariat of the Trade Negotiating Committee under the Framework on Trade Preferential System among Islamic Countries.

These cooperation activities consisted in the organization of workshops and development of educational materials with an Islamic perspective, to make them more suitable for Islamic Countries.
وتتمثل هذه الأنشطة التعاونية في تنظيم حلقات عمل وتطوير مواد تعليمية ذات بعد إسلامي، لجعلها أكثر ملائمة للبلدان الإسلامية.

ونظرا للأهمية المتزايدة باستمرار للبلدان الإسلامية في المعادلات السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية في عالم اليوم، فإننا نعتقد اعتقادا راسخا أن توسيع نطاق التعاون بين الأمم المتحدة ومنظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي قد أصبح أمرا يتزايد إسهامه في صون السلم والأمن العالميين.

6. Urges Member States to actively and effectively participate in the First Tourism Fair of Islamic Countries (Istanbul 24-26 November 2005) on the sidelines of the 21st Session of the COMCEC.
6 - يحث الدول الأعضاء على المشاركة بفعالية ونشاط في المعرض السياحي الأول للبلدان الإسلامية (24 - 26 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2005، اسطنبول) على هامش الدورة الحادية والعشرين للكومسيك.

16. The Committee notes with appreciation the progress report submitted by ICDT on the preparation of the 11th Trade Fair of Islamic Countries to be held in Dakar, Republic of Senegal from 21st to 25th November 2007, and urges the OIC Member States to actively participate in this Fair.
16 - يرحب مع التقدير بالتقرير المرحلي الذي قدمه مركز الدار البيضاء حول الإعداد للمعرض التجاري الحادي عشر للبلدان الإسلامية المزمع تنظيمه في داكار (جمهورية السنغال) في الفترة من 21 إلى 25 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007، ويحث الدول الأعضاء على المشاركة بفاعلية في هذا المعرض؛

2. Condemns all governmental and non-governmental entities which engage in harmful and illegal practice of dumping toxic and nuclear wastes in the international and territorial waters of the Islamic countries which seriously threatens life and environment.
2 - يدين جميع الكيانات الحكومية وغير الحكومية التي تمارس هذا الأسلوب الخطر وغير القانوني في التخلص من النفايات النووية في المياه الإقليمية الدولية للبلدان الإسلامية ، مشكلة بذلك تهديدا خطيرا للحياة والبيئة .

While the driving force of Islamophobia in past centuries was religion, it appears that today the political dimension is on the rise, stemming from the societal changes linked with significant waves of immigration and the growing political and economic assertiveness of Muslim countries.
وفي حين أن الدين كان القوة الدافعة لظاهرة كراهية الإسلام في القرون الماضية، يبدو أن البُعد السياسي قد أخذ يتعاظم اليوم، وهو ناشئ عن التغيرات المجتمعية المرتبطة بالموجات الكبيرة للهجرة وتنامي المكانة السياسية والاقتصادية للبلدان الإسلامية.
