The Party had subsequently been requested, in recommendation 39/4 of the thirty-ninth meeting of the Implementation Committee, to submit to the Ozone Secretariat, no later than 29 February 2008, a report on the implementation of its national phaseout plan and any revisions that could be made, for consideration by the Committee at its fortieth meeting.

Another piece of information that had been required was a report on the implementation of the Party's national phaseout plan and any revisions that could be made, in the light of the progress made in the implementation of the plan, to the estimated amount by which the Party expected to exceed its annual allowable consumption of CFCs in each of the years 2007 - 2009.

The plan contains a carbon tetrachloride phaseout schedule with consumption reduction targets of 0.2 ODP-tonnes in 2006, 0.1 ODP-tonnes in 2007 and zero ODP-tonnes in 2008; enabling the Party to achieve totalphase out of carbon tetrachloride two years in advance of the Protocol's requirements.
وسيتولى برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي وحكومة كندا تنفيذ هذه الخطة التي تنطوي على جدول زمني للتخلّص التدريجي من رابع كلوريد الكربون يستهدف خفض الاستهلاك إلى 0.2 طن بدالة استنفاد الأوزون في عام 2006 وإلى 0.1 طن في عام 2007 و صفر طن في عام 2008؛ بما سيُمكِّن الطرف من تحقيق التخلص التدريجي الكامل من هذه المادة قبل سنتين من الموعد الذي يشترطه البروتوكول.
