والدعم القيم الذي ما فتئ يقدمه اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة، السيد بطرس بطرس غالى، للجنتنا يسهم في النتائج المثمرة التي تحققها دولنا، علاوة على أنه يضمن النجاح في تحقيق اﻷهداف المرجوة من إنشاء نظام أمن جماعي في منطقة وسط افريقيا.

It therefore goes without saying that the challenge of maintaining security in space, and in particular preventing an arms race in outer space, is an urgent one for our Committee, for the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and for the Conference on Disarmament.
