It therefore attached great importance to the successful outcome of the Fourth Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions.

At a meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and transit developing countries, held from 19 to 22 June, the recommendations of the Symposium were widely endorsed.
وحظيت توصيات الندوة بتأييد واسع في اجتماع للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية، عقد في الفترة من ١٩ الى ٢٢ حزيران/يونيه.

25. Furthermore, General Assembly resolution 52/183, in paragraph 11, requested the Secretary-General to convene a meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and transit developing countries with representatives of donor countries, financial and development institutions in 1999.

The Fourth Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions will be convened in New York from 24 to 26 August 1999 pursuant to paragraph 11 of General Assembly resolution 52/183.
1- سوف يعقد الاجتماع الرابع للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية والإنمائية في نيويورك في الفترة من 24 إلى 26 آب/أغسطس 1999 عملا بالفقرة 11 من قرار الجمعية العامة 52/183.

In order to further promote these efforts designed to improve transit transport systems, the above resolution requested the Secretary-General to convene a second meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and transit developing countries and representatives from donor countries and financial and development institutions, whose objective is to review the progress of the measures they are undertaking in this regard.
ولزيادة تعزيز هذه الجهود الرامية إلى تحسين نظم النقل العابر طُلب إلى اﻷمين العام في القرار المذكور أعلاه أن يعقد اجتماعا ثانيا للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية والانمائية، الهدف منه استعراض التقدم المحرز فيما تضطلع به من تدابير في هذا الصدد.

The purpose of the Symposium was to address specific regional problems in improving the transit transport systems, taking into account the recommendations of the first Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions, held in New York in May 1993.
وكان الغرض من الندوة هو معالجة مشاكل إقليمية محددة تعترض تحسين نظم النقل العابر، مع مراعاة توصيات الاجتماع اﻷول للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية واﻹنمائية، المعقود في أيار/مايو ١٩٩٣.

The terms of reference of the Symposium as set out in this resolution are to address specific regional problems in implementing the recommendations of the first Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions held in May 1993.
وإن اختصاصات الندوة كما ترد في هذا القرار هي معالجة المشاكل اﻹقليمية المحددة التي تعترض سبيل تنفيذ توصيات الاجتماع اﻷول للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية واﻹنمائية المعقود في أيار/مايو ٣٩٩١.

The above conclusions and recommendations are the outcome of the first Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions held in May 1993 in New York.
إن الاستنتاجات والتوصيات الواردة أعلاه هي حصيلة الاجتماع اﻷول للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية واﻹنمائية المعقود في أيار/مايو ٣٩٩١ في نيويورك.

7. The conclusions and recommendations of the Symposium will be made available to the next Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions, to be convened pursuant to General Assembly resolution 48/169.
٧- ستتاح استنتاجات وتوصيات الندوة للاجتماع القادم للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية واﻹنمائية، الذي سيعقد عملاً بقرار الجمعية العامة ٨٤/٩٦١.

The Mongolian delegation expresses its hope that the General Assembly will at its present session endorse the recommendations adopted last June by the Second Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions.

Furthermore, the report of the Second Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions, called for in paragraph 10 of the same resolution, is also before the General Assembly in document TD/B/42(1)/11-TD/B/LDC/AC.1/7.

The purpose of this evaluation was to serve as a basis for the review of the progress in the development of the transit systems which was undertaken by the Second Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial Development Institutions called for by the General Assembly in the same paragraph of the resolution.

The Board also took note of the progress report by the UNCTAD secretariat on specific actions related to the particular needs and problems of land-locked developing countries and the report of the Second Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions.
١١ - وواصل حديثه قائلا إن المجلس أحاط علما أيضا بالتقرير المرحلي الذي أعدته أمانة اﻷونكتاد بشأن إجراءات محددة تتصل باحتياجات ومشاكل معينة تواجهها البلدان النامية غير الساحلية، وتقرير الاجتماع الثاني للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان العبور النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية واﻹنمائية.

The Islamic Republic of Iran had already implemented, through a number of subregional projects and agreements, a considerable number of the recommendations contained in the annex to the report of the Second Meeting of Governmental Experts from Land-locked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions, referred to in document A/50/341.
٤٤ - ومضى يقول إن جمهورية إيران اﻹسلامية قد أتمت بالفعل، من خلال عدد من المشاريع والاتفاقات دون اﻹقليمية، تنفيذ عدد كبير من التوصيات الواردة في ملحق تقرير الاجتماع الثاني للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية واﻹنمائية، المشار إليه في الوثيقة A/50/341.

The idea was briefly considered in 1999 by the General Assembly, which in turn requested the Fifth Meeting of Governmental Experts from Landlocked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions in 2001 to make a specific recommendation on the matter.
ونظرت الجمعية العامة بصورة وجيزة في الفكرة في عام 1999، ثم طلبت إلى الاجتماع الخامس للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية والإنمائية في عام 2001 أن يقدم توصيات محددة في هذا الشأن.

With their support, the Fifth Meeting of Governmental Experts from Landlocked and Transit Developing Countries and Representatives of Donor Countries and Financial and Development Institutions was held this year.

They should also take fully into account the agreed recommendations and conclusions of the fourth meeting of Governmental Experts from Landlocked and transit developing countries and representatives of donor countries and financial and development institutions.
كما ينبغي لها أيضا أن تأخذ في اعتبارها الكامل التوصيات والنتائج المتفق عليها في الاجتماع الرابع للخبراء الحكوميين من البلدان النامية غير الساحلية وبلدان المرور العابر النامية وممثلي البلدان المانحة والمؤسسات المالية والإنمائية.
