I. Welcomes the signing of the ceasefire agreements between the Transitional Government of Burundi and the CNDD-FDD (Jean Bosco Ndayikengurukiye) and the PALIPEHUTU-FNL (Allain Mugabarabona), respectively, as an encouraging step towards the restoration of peace, security and stability in Burundi and the full implementation of the Arusha Peace and Reconciliation Agreement for Burundi.
