1. The purpose of this note is to clarify the numbering of the documents for the fourth session of the open-ended Working Group on the Right to development.
1- الغرض من هذه المذكرة هو توضيح ترقيم وثائق الدورة الرابعة للفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية المعني بالحق في التنمية.

Particular attention is given to the activities in support of the open-ended Working Group on the Right to Development and the high-level task force on the implementation of the right to development, as well as other activities that could contribute to the implementation of the right to development.
ويولى فيه اهتمام خاص للأنشطـة الداعمـة للفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية المعني بالحق في التنمية ولأنشطة فرقة العمل الرفيعة المستوى المعنية بإعمال الحق في التنمية، فضلاً عن الأنشطة الأخرى التي قد تسهم في إعمال الحق في التنمية.

3. The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) continues to provide administrative, technical and substantive support to the open-ended Working Group on the Right to development and the independent expert on the right to development.
3- تواصل المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان تقديم الدعم الإداري والتقني والموضوعي للفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية المعني بالحق في التنمية وللخبير المستقل المعني بالحق في التنمية.

The third session of the open-ended Working Group on the Right to Development was opened by the Chairperson-Rapporteur, H.E. Ambassador Dembri, in the presence of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Mary Robinson.

8. OHCHR continued to provide substantive and organizational support to the open-ended Working Group on the Right to Development, established by the Commission on Human Rights through its resolution 1998/72.

In response to the resolution, the independent expert submitted his fourth report to the third session of the open-ended Working Group on the Right to Development (E/CN.4/2002/WG.18/2).
