3. Urges the United Nations International Drug Control Programme to cooperate with States Parties to the 1988 Convention and encourages those States to contribute their maritime experiences to the formulation of technical assistance and training;
3- تحث برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات على التعاون مع الدول الأطراف في اتفاقية سنة 1988 وتشجع الدول على أن تسهم بخبراتها البحرية في صياغة المساعدة التقنية والتدريب؛

5. Supports the focus on regional, subregional and national strategies for drug abuse control, particularly the master-plan approach, and urges the United Nations International Drug Control Programme to continue to complement those strategies with effective interregional strategies;

Encourages the Executive Director of the United Nations International Drug Control Programme to continue to facilitate and promote the dissemination of information and the sharing of the benefits of experience gained in the development and implementation of balanced national strategies integrating comprehensive initiatives aimed at supply and demand reduction;
٨ - يشجع المدير التنفيذي لبرنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات على مواصلة تيسير وتعزيز نشر المعلومات وتقاسم فوائد الخبرة المكتسبة في وضع وتنفيذ استراتيجيات وطنية متوازنة تتكامل فيها مبادرات شاملة ترمي إلى خفض العرض والطلب؛

2. Supports the focus on national and regional strategies for drug abuse control, particularly the master-plan approach, and urges the United Nations International Drug Control Programme to keep in mind that these should be complemented with effective interregional strategies;
٢ - تؤيد التركيز على الاستراتيجيات الوطنية والاقليمية لمكافحة إساءة استعمال المخدرات، ولاسيما نهج الخطة الرئيسية، وتحث برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات على أن يضع نصب اﻷعين ضرورة تكملتها باستراتيجيات أقاليمية فعالة؛

3. Encourages the United Nations International Drug Control Programme to use available voluntary resources to increase its technical assistance to countries that are deploying efforts to reduce illicit crop cultivation by, in particular, adopting alternative development programmes;
3- تشجّع برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات على استخدام الموارد المتاحة من التبرعات لزيادة مساعدته التقنية للبلدان التي تبذل جهودا لتخفيض زراعة المحاصيل المخدرة غير المشروعة، وذلك بوجه خاص من خلال اعتماد برامج للتنمية البديلة؛

5. Encourages the United Nations International Drug Control Programme to promote mechanisms to ensure that information utilized in formulating policies for the reduction of demand for illicit drugs is clear, valid, reliable and comprehensive and can be collected at low cost so that it is accessible to all Member States;
5- تشجع برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات على أن يروج آليات تضمن أن تكون المعلومات المستخدمة في صوغ سياسات خفض الطلب على المخدرات غير المشروعة واضحة وصحيحة ويعوَّل عليها وشاملة ويمكن جمعها بتكلفة منخفضة كي يكون الاطلاع عليها متاحا لجميع الدول الأعضاء؛
