At the request of the Council, OHCHR, in consultation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, organized an expert meeting on the issue of protecting the human rights of civilians in armed conflict.

39. In its resolution 9/9, the Council expressed the intention to consider requesting the Advisory Committee to elaborate a study with potential recommendations on the protection of the human rights of civilians in armed conflict.
39- أعرب المجلس، في قراره 9/9، عن اعتزامه النظر في أن يطلب إلى اللجنة الاستشارية أن تقوم بوضع دراسة عن حماية حقوق الإنسان للمدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة.

41. In its resolution 9/9, the Council expressed the intention to consider requesting the Advisory Committee to elaborate a study with potential recommendations on the protection of the human rights of civilians in armed conflict.
41- أعرب المجلس، في قراره 9/9، عن اعتزامه النظر في أن يطلب إلى اللجنة الاستشارية أن تقوم بوضع دراسة عن حماية حقوق الإنسان للمدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة.

The Human Rights Committee had further analysed the question of the right to reparation, including from the perspective of guarantees of non-repetition, satisfaction and compensation, as mechanisms to ensure protection of the human rights of civilians in armed conflict.
وقد أجرت اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان تحليلاً لمسألة الحق في الجبر، بما في ذلك من منظور ضمانات عدم تكرار الانتهاكات، والترضية، والتعويض، بوصفها آليات لضمان حماية حقوق الإنسان للمدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة.

40. In its recommendation 4/6, taking into account Council resolutions 9/9 and 12/5, the Committee recommended that the Council consider authorizing Ms. Zulficar to attend the second expert consultation on the issue of protecting the human rights of civilians in armed conflict organized by OHCHR.
40- وأوصت اللجنة الاستشارية، في توصيتها 4/6، آخذة في الاعتبار قراري المجلس 9/9 و12/5، بأن ينظر المجلس في الإذن للسيدة منى ذو الفقار بحضور مشاورة الخبراء الثانية التي تنظمها المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان بشأن مسألة حماية حقوق الإنسان للمدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة.

42. In its recommendation 4/6, taking into account Council resolutions 9/9 and 12/5, the Committee recommended that the Council consider authorizing Ms. Zulficar to attend the second expert consultation on the issue of protecting the human rights of civilians in armed conflict organized by OHCHR.
42- وأوصت اللجنة الاستشارية، في توصيتها 4/6، آخذة في الاعتبار قراري المجلس 9/9 و12/5، بأن ينظر المجلس في الإذن للسيدة منى ذو الفقار بحضور مشاورة الخبراء الثانية التي تنظمها المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان بشأن مسألة حماية حقوق الإنسان للمدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة.
