1. International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and International Collaboration Centre for Research and Development on Satellite Navigation Technology in South-East Asia
1- الجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بُعد ومركز التعاون الدولي للبحث والتطوير في مجال تكنولوجيا الملاحة الساتلية في جنوب شرق آسيا

The Programme provided financial support to the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing in order to assist a number of participants from developing countries to attend the Ninth International Conference on Geoinformation for Disaster Management, which was held in Hanoi from 9 to 11 December 2013.
45- وقدَّم البرنامج دعماً مالياً للجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بُعد من أجل مساعدة عدد من المشاركين من البلدان النامية على حضور المؤتمر الدولي التاسع للمعلومات الجغرافية من أجل إدارة الكوارث، الذي عُقد في هانوي من 9 إلى 11 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2013.

Representatives of the European Space Agency (ESA), the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), the International Law Association (ILA), the International Mobile Satellite Organization (Inmarsat), the International Organization of Space Communications (INTERSPUTNIK) and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) also attended the session.

20. The Working Group of the Whole noted that the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing had offered to lead the action team, if established, for recommendation 21 (Provide educational opportunities for youth to learn more about space science and technology) and recommendation 22 (Create, within the framework of the Committee, a consultative mechanism to facilitate the participation of youth in cooperative space activities).
20- كما نوّه الفريق العامل الجامع أن الجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بُعد عرضت أن تتولى قيادة فريقي العمل المعنيين بالتوصية 21 (توفير الفرص التعليمية للشبكات لتعلّم المزيد من علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء) والتوصية 22 (إنشاء آلية تشاورية في إطار لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية لتيسير مشاركة الشباب في الأنشطة التعاونية ذات الصلة بالفضاء)، إذا ما أنشئا.

The United Nations Programme on Space Applications also provided financial support to the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing for the organization of a regional workshop for experts from developing countries involved in the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project for Eastern Africa, which has been designed to help towns in East Africa apply satellite imagery to support planning and development.
45- وقدَّم برنامج الأمم المتحدة للتطبيقات الفضائية دعماً مالياً أيضاً للجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بُعد من أجل تنظيم حلقة عمل إقليمية للخبراء من البلدان النامية المعنيين بمشروع بحيرة فيكتوريا لإدارة البيئة في شرقي أفريقيا، المصمَّم لمساعدة المدن في شرق أفريقيا على استخدام التصوير الساتلي لأغراض دعم التخطيط والتنمية.

The Subcommittee noted that the regional centres had participated in the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation/Group on Earth Observations/International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing seminar on recognition of cross-border capacity-building in Earth observation, held on 1 and 2 November 2007 at Enschede, the Netherlands.
46- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية أن المراكز الإقليمية شاركت في الحلقة الدراسية المشتركة بين المعهد الدولي لعلم المعلومات الأرضية ورصد الأرض والفريق المختص برصد الأرض والجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بُعد حول الاعتراف بأهمية بناء القدرات عبر الحدود في مجال رصد الأرض، التي عقدت في إنشيده، هولندا، يومي 1 و2 تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر 2007.

The Subcommittee recognized the important role played by organizations such as the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites (CEOS), IAF and the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and by international initiatives such as the Integrated Global Observing Strategy Partnership in promoting international cooperation in the use of remote sensing technology, in particular for the benefit of developing countries.
59- وسلّمت اللجنة الفرعية بأهمية الدور الذي تضطلع به منظمات مثل اللجنة المعنية بسواتل رصد الأرض والاتحاد الدولي للملاحة الفضائية والجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بُعد ومبادرات دولية مثل شراكة استراتيجية الرصد العالمي المتكاملة، في تعزيز التعاون الدولي في مجال استخدام تكنولوجيا الاستشعار عن بُعد، ولا سيما لصالح البلدان النامية.
