49 - السيد شوركين (الاتحاد الروسي): قال إنه ينبغي التوصُّل إلى حل نزيه ومقبول بصورة مشتركة لمسألة جزر فوكلاند (مالفيناس) وبواسطة السُبل السلمية فقط وعن طريق مفاوضات ثنائية تتم بين الأرجنتين والمملكة المتحدة أخذاً بعين الاعتبار قرارات الجمعية العامة ذات الصلة.

Negotiations should be based on the principle of territorial integrity and full acknowledgement of the interests of the population, in order to reach a peaceful solution to the question of the Falkland Islands (Malvinas).
وينبغي أن تكون المفاوضات مستندة إلى مبدأ وحدة الأراضي وإلى الإقرار الكامل بمصالح السكان وذلك من أجل التوصل إلى حل سلمي لمسألة جزر فوكلاند (مالفيناس).

The Special Committee should continue to encourage the resumption of negotiations between the Governments of Argentina and the United Kingdom, with the aim of finding a solution to the question of the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) and taking into consideration the interests of the population of the Territory, in accordance with the relevant resolutions and decisions of the United Nations.
