25. The Committee for Programme and Coordination was informed that the report (A/52/303) described the changes that would be required to the proposed programme budget for the biennium 1998-1999 consequent upon the Secretary-General's reform proposals.

١٢ - ترحب بالجهود التي يبذلها المدير التنفيذي لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة التابع لﻷمانة العامة من أجل تعزيز التداؤب بين برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة الدولي لمراقبة المخدرات ومركز منع الجريمة على الصعيد الدولي، وفقا لمقترحات اﻹصلاح التي قدمها اﻷمين العام؛

Since the Advisory Committee's first report covered only the initial estimates, and in view of the ongoing discussion in the plenary Assembly of the reform proposals contained in document A/51/950, the Advisory Committee had decided to submit its recommendations on A/52/303 together with its views on the overall level of resources for 1998-1999 at a later stage.
