92. The Constitutional bodies such as the Supreme Court and the Office of the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Nepal carry out monitoring and evaluation of their offices and subordinate offices where as the Appellate Courts monitor and evaluate the prisons and prisoners of the country.
92- وتقوم الهيئات الدستورية مثل المحكمة العليا ومكتب المدعي العام لمملكة نيبال بعمليات رصد وتقييم لمكاتبها والمكاتب التابعة لها في حين تعمد محاكم الاستئناف إلى رصد وتقييم سجون البلد وسجنائها.

180. The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Nepal said that the fact that Nepal had been chosen for a special presentation to the joint meetings of the Executive Boards was testimony to the mutual confidence and successful partnership that existed between the Government and the United Nations organizations.

Finally, the Special Rapporteur notes that the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Nepal to the United Nations Office at Geneva gave in April 2001 an initial positive reaction to the February 2001 Special Rapporteur's request to visit his country.

13. The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Nepal to the United Nations Office at Geneva transmitted to the Centre for Human Rights a note verbale dated 25 August 1995, in which it stated:
١٣- وأرسلت البعثة الدائمة لمملكة نيبال لدى مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة في جنيف إلى مركز حقوق اﻹنسان مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة في ٢٥ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٥، جاء فيها ما يلي:

6. The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Nepal reported that recruitment in the Royal Nepalese Army service is carried out with the consent of the concerned person and forceful recruitment is not allowed by the law in Nepal.
٦- أبلغت البعثة الدائمة لمملكة نيبال بأن التجنيد للخدمة في الجيش الملكي في نيبال يتم بموافقة الشخص المعني وبعدم جواز التجنيد الاجباري بموجب القانون في نيبال.

As explicitly expressed in the letter of the Mission of the Kingdom of Nepal addressed to the Department of Disarmament Affairs dated 2 August 2005, His Majesty's Government is fully flexible to sort out the outstanding issues relating to the relocation of the Centre to Kathmandu.
وعلى نحو ما أشارت إليه البعثة الدائمة لمملكة نيبال بجلاء في رسالتها المؤرخة 2 آب/أغسطس 2005، التي وجهتها إلى إدارة شؤون نزع السلاح، فإن حكومة صاحب الجلالة على استعداد للعمل بكل مرونة من أجل معالجة المسائل المعلقة ذات الصلة بنقل المركز إلى كاتماندو.

The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Nepal to the United Nations has the honour to inform the United Nations Secretary-General that the following reply has been received from the Ministry of Defence of His Majesty's Government of Nepal regarding resolution 50/70 D entitled " Transparency in armaments " :

The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Nepal to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Chairman of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1540 (2004) and, with reference to the latter's letter dated 23 February 2006, has the honour to forward herewith Nepal's preliminary report on the implementation of Security Council resolution 1540 (2004) (see annex).
تهدي البعثة الدائمة لمملكة نيبال لدى الأمم المتحدة تحياتها إلى رئيس لجنة مجلس الأمن المنشأة عملا بالقرار 1540 (2004)، وبالإشارة إلى رسالة الرئيس المؤرخة 23 شباط/فبراير 2006، تتشرف بأن تحيل طيا تقرير نيبال الأولي بشأن تنفيذ قرار مجلس الأمن 1540 (2004) (انظر المرفق).
