وتود اللجنة في هذا الصدد أن تسترعي انتباه الدولة الطرف إلى التوصيات التي وضعت في برنامج العمل المعتمد في المؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال الذي عقد في ستكهولم في عام ٦٩٩١.

5. World Congress against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children
٥- المؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال

The Committee also recommends that further measures be taken in order to address matters relating to the sexual exploitation of children, particularly through tourism, taking into account the recommendations adopted at the World Congress against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, held in Stockholm.
كما توصي باتخاذ المزيد من التدابير الرامية إلى معالجة المسائل المتصلة بالاستغلال الجنسي لﻷطفال، خصوصا من خلال السياحة، مع مراعاة التوصيات التي اعتمدت في المؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال الذي عقد في ستكهولم.

VI. PROPOSALS FOR FOLLOW-UP TO THE WORLD CONGRESS against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children
سادساً - مقترحات بشأن متابعة توصيات المؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال

UNICEF had participated in the recent World Congress against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children held in Stockholm.
٨٠ - وأضافت أن اليونيسيف قد شاركت في المؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال الذي عقد مؤخرا في ستوكهلم.

In that connection, her delegation strongly supported the Declaration and Agenda for Action adopted at the World Congress against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, held in Stockholm in August 1996.
وقالت، في هذا الصدد، إن وفدها يؤيد بشدة اﻹعلان وخطة العمل المعتمدين في المؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال المعقود في ستوكهولم في آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٦.

The Committee was represented at a number of meetings relevant to its activities, including major world gatherings such as the United Nations Conference on Human Settlements (Habitat II) (see CRC/C/54, para. 267, and CRC/C/57, para. 231) and the World Congress against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (see CRC/C/57, para. 235).

The Committee also recommends that further measures be undertaken in order to address matters relating to the sexual exploitation of children, particularly through tourism, taking into account the recommendations adopted at the World Congress against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children held in Stockholm.

In this connection, IPEC has launched its “Strategy and action against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children”.

28. The preliminary study for the Machel Study was done in preparation for the World Congress against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, to be held at Stockholm in August 1996.
٢٨ - وقد أُعدت دراسة أولية لدراسة ماشيل تحضيرا للمؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال الذي سيعقد في ستكهولم في آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٦.

6. The World Congress against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children, held at Stockholm from 27 to 31 August 1996, firmly condemned the use and abuse of children, who are commonly treated as a cheap labour force and as commercial objects.
٦ - فقد وجﱠه المجلس العالمي لمناهضة الاستغلال الجنسي التجاري لﻷطفال المعقود في استكهولم في الفترة من ٢٧ إلى ٣١ آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٦، إدانة قوية لاستغلال وإيذاء اﻷطفال ممن يعاملون بصورة عامة كيد عاملة رخيصة، وكسلعة تجارية.
