The Special Rapporteur encourages all States to incorporate into their national legislation international and regional norms and standards in order to appropriately and effectively strengthen their domestic system to prevent and combat racism and discrimination in sports.

The Special Rapporteur welcomes the Swedish Government's efforts to prevent and combat racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, and invites all Governments to formulate a national plan to combat these phenomena, notably in the context of the implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action.
96- ويعرب المقرر الخاص عن ارتياحه للجهود التي بذلتها الحكومة السويدية لمنع ومكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب والتعصب، ويدعو جميع الحكومات إلى وضع خطة وطنية لمكافحة هذه الظواهر، لا سيما في سياق تنفيذ إعلان وبرنامج عمل ديربان.

This is important not only because children are among the most vulnerable victims of racism, but also because they can play an important role as active participants in the prevention of and fight against racism.

(أ) دعم تصميم وتنفيذ سياسات مؤسسية لمنع ومكافحة العنصرية والتمييز في الجامعات، ومعاهد المعلمين الوطنية العليا العامة والخاصة، والنظام التعليمي الوطني في مرحلة ما قبل التعليم الابتدائي والمرحلتين الابتدائية والثانوية؛

Governments were urged to address gender-based manifestations when taking effective measures to prevent and combat racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, and related intolerance (2002/68), and torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment (2002/38).

(ب) أن تدرج الدول في تقاريرها الوطنية المقدمة إلى آلية الاستعراض الدوري الشامل التابعة لمجلس حقوق الإنسان معلومات عن التدابير التي اتخذتها لمنع ومكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب؛

(b) That States include in their national reports to the universal periodic review mechanism of the Human Rights Council information on measures to prevent and combat racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance;

The Committee encourages the State party to continue measures to prevent and combat racism, xenophobia, discrimination and intolerance, by, inter alia, ensuring followup to the recommendations of the United Nations treaty bodies and the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI), in particular as concerns children.
640- تشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على مواصلة اتخاذ التدابير لمنع ومكافحة العنصرية وكره الأجانب والتمييز والتعصب، من خلال أمور منها ضمان متابعة توصيات هيئات معاهدات الأمم المتحدة المنشأة بموجب معاهدات حقوق الإنسان واللجنة الأوروبية لمكافحة العنصرية والتعصب التابعة لمجلس أوروبا، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالأطفال.
