4. In furtherance of its first objective, the Mechanism will work together with the two Tribunals to ensure that the commencement of operations and the smooth transition of functions and operations of the Tribunals proceeds in the most cost-efficient, effective and practical manner possible.
4 - وتحقيقا للهدف الأول، ستعمل الآلية مع المحكمتين لضمان بدء العمليات والانتقال السلس لمهام وعمليات المحكمتين بأقصى قدر ممكن من كفاءة التكلفة والفعالية وتوخي الطابع العملي.

3. During the biennium 2012-2013, the Mechanism will direct its activities to the pursuit of two main objectives: (a) the commencement of operations on the basis of a coordinated transition of functions and operations of the Tribunals; and (b) the effective and efficient implementation of the residual functions as mandated by the Security Council.
3 - وخلال فترة السنتين 2012-2013، ستوجه الآلية أنشطتها نحو تحقيق هدفين رئيسيين: (أ) بدء العمليات على أساس الانتقال المنسق لمهام وعمليات المحكمتين؛ (ب) تنفيذ المهام المتبقية بفعالية وكفاءة وفق التكليف الصادر من مجلس الأمن.
