106- واختتم كلمته مؤكداً أن العمل الذي ينبغي للأونكتاد أن يضطلع به استجابة لولاية الدوحة في مجال الاستثمار ينبغي ألا يكون على حساب أعمال تحليل السياسات والمساعدة التقنية الجارية، وإنما ينبغي الاضطلاع به باستخدام موارد إضافية.

We recognize that international trade is vital for the development of our countries and the eradication of poverty and we stress the importance of enabling the beneficial and meaningful integration of the Least Developed Countries into the multilateral trading system, in accordance with the Doha mandate and the outcome of the 2005 Sixth Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization.

15. Underscore that attention should be focused on the specific trade-related and development-related needs and concerns of small island developing States to enable them to integrate fully into the multilateral trading system, in accordance with the Doha mandate on small economies;
