وخلال الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير، افتتح قسم حقوق الإنسان مكتبة مرجعية لشؤون حقوق الإنسان في مدينة لونجي بمقاطعة بورت لوكوا في شمال البلد.

Accordingly, I wish to inform you that the Committee established pursuant to resolution 1132 (1997) concerning Sierra Leone, received a notification on 29 October 1998 from the Government of Sierra Leone for the import of paramilitary equipment and other related matériel through the entry point of Lungi International Airport.
وعلى ذلك، أود أن أبلغكم بأن اللجنة المنشأة عملا بالقرار ١١٣٢ )١٩٩٧( بشأن سيراليون قد تلقﱠت في ٢٩ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٨ إخطارا من حكومــة سيراليون بشــأن استيراد معــدات شبه عسكرية وما يتصل بها من مواد عن طريق نقطة الدخول في مطار لونجي الدولي.
