This was in fact the first attempt to make a political assessment of the policy of genocide against Azerbaijanis and of the occupation of our lands for over a century.
وكان ذلك في الواقع أول محاولة لعمل تقييم سياسي لسياسة اﻹبادة الجماعية لﻷذربيجانيين واحتلال أراضينا لفترة تزيد على قرن.

It is absolutely illogical that the leadership of Armenia, which has implemented the total ethnic cleansing of not only the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, but also of the Azerbaijani population in its own territory, is trying to apply the principle of self-determination.
ومن غير المنطقي تماماً أن قيادة أرمينيا، التي نفّذت التطهير العرقي بالكامل ليس على أراضي أذربيجان المحتلة فحسب، ولكن أيضاً للأذربيجانيين الذين يسكنون على أراضيها، تحاول أن تطبق مبدأ تقرير المصير.

ونتيجة للعدوان وللتطهير اﻹثني لﻷذربيجانيين من أراضي أرمينيا ومن الجزء المحتل من أراضي أذربيجان فإنه لا يزال يوجد في الوقت الحالي في أذربيجان أكثر من مليون لاجئ ومشرد.

During the forcible expulsion of the Azerbaijanis, hundreds of historical relics testifying to the fact that Azerbaijanis had for centuries belonged on the land in what is today Armenia were either destroyed or altered to look Armenian.
وخلال عمليات الطرد القسري لﻷذربيجانيين جرى تدمير مئات اﻵثار التاريخية التي تشهد بأن اﻷذربيجانيين قد أقاموا لقرون في اﻷراضي التي تُعد اليوم أرمينيا أو غُيرت معالمها ليبدو أنها أرمينية.

In this light, everything that has happened over the past six years has been terrible not only for the Azerbaijani people, not only for the Azerbaijanis who have been expelled from Nagorny Karabakh and have become refugees; this situation is terrible and unfortunate for you, the inhabitants of Nagorny Karabakh.
وفي ضوء هذا، فإن ما يجري خلال السنوات الست اﻷخيرة هو أمر فظيع لا بالنسبة للشعب الاذربيجاني فحسب أو بالنسبة لﻷذربيجانيين الذين طردوا من اقليم ناغورني كاراباخ وأصبحوا مشردين فحسب، بل هو أمر مؤسف وفظيع بالنسبة لكم أيضا سكان ناغورني كاراباخ.

2. To recommend that the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Azerbaijani Republic consider holding a special session devoted to the events involving genocide of the Azerbaijanis.
