5. Calls for a significant increase in cooperation between the United Nations International Drug Control Programme and the United Nations Development Programme, in view of the special role of the latter body as a coordinator for Development Activities within the United Nations system, and to that effect recommends that:

75. UNICEF support for Development Activities in the 1992-1994 period covers the sectors of health and nutrition, water and sanitation, education, rural development, children in difficult circumstances, information and social planning.

Under the terms of General Assembly resolution 48/160 of 20 December 1993, UNETPSA is expected to continue for a number of years in spite of the establishment of a united, democratic and non-racial South Africa and would be included in the annual United Nations Pledging Conference for Development Activities.
٧ - وبموجب أحكام قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٨/١٦٠ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، ينتظر أن يستمر برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة التعليمي والتدريبي للجنوب الافريقي لعدد من السنوات، رغم اقامة جنوب افريقيا موحدة وديمقراطية وغير عنصرية، وأن يدرج ضمن مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة السنوي ﻹعلان التبرعات لﻷنشطة الانمائية.

4. Chapter III should emphasize the need for international partnership in the transfer of technology and for a flow of financial resources to developing countries for the implementation of Agenda 21 and the new action programme, and should mention the decline in the flow of official development assistance for Development Activities in the South.
٤ - وانتقل إلى الفصل الثالث فقال إنه ينبغي لهذا الفصل أن يؤكد على الحاجة إلى تحقيق شراكة دولية في نقل التكنولوجيا وإلى تدفق الموارد المالية إلى البلدان النامية من أجل تنفيذ جدول أعمال القرن ٢١ وبرنامج العمل الجديد، أن يشير ايضا إلى الانخفاض الملموس في تدفق المساعدة الانمائية الرسمية اللازمة لﻷنشطة الانمائية في الجنوب.

24. It is also recalled that in operative paragraph 11 of Resolution 51/161 of 16 December 1996, the General Assembly decided to include the Trust Funds for Symposia and Travel Assistance in the list of funds and programmes that are to be dealt with at the United Nations Pledging Conference for Development Activities.
٤٢ - وتجدر الاشارة أيضا الى أنه في الفقرة ١١ من منطوق القرار ١٥/١٦١ المؤرخ ٦١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٦٩٩١ ، قررت الجمعية العامة ادراج صندوق اﻷونسيترال الاستئماني للندوات وصندوق اﻷونسيترال الاستئماني للمساعدة المتعلقة بالسفر في قائمة الصناديق والبرامج التي يتناولها مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة لاعلان التبرعات لﻷنشطة الانمائية .
