33 - وتشجع اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اتخاذ تدابير مستدامة، تشمل تدابير خاصة مؤقتة وفقاً للفقرة 1 من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية وللتوصية العامة 25 للجنة للإسراع في زيادة تمثيل المرأة في الهيئات التي يُنتخب ويُعيَّن أعضاؤها في جميع مجالات الحياة العامة والسياسية.

CEDAW encouraged the Gambia to increase the representation of women in elected and appointed bodies in all areas of public and political life and at all levels.
40- وشجعت اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة غامبيا على زيادة تمثيل المرأة في الهيئات المنتخبة والمعيَّنة في جميع مجالات الحياة العامة والسياسية وفي جميع المستويات(91).

(a) To pursue sustained policies aimed at the promotion of the full and equal participation of women in decision-making as a democratic requirement in all areas of public and political life at the national, regional and local levels by, inter alia, adopting temporary special measures in accordance with article 4 (1) of the Convention and the Committee's general recommendation No. 25;
(أ) اتباع سياسات مطردة تهدف إلى تعزيز المشاركة الكاملة والمتساوية للمرأة في صنع القرار بوصفها مطلبا ديمقراطيا في جميع مجالات الحياة العامة والسياسية على الأصعدة الوطني والإقليمي والمحلي وذلك عن طريق جملة أمور منها، اعتماد تدابير خاصة مؤقتة وفقا للمادة 4 (1) من الاتفاقية والتوصية العامة رقم 25 للجنة؛
