41. 31 - تدعو مجالس إدارة صناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها إلى إجراء مزيد من المناقشات بغية إيجاد أنسب تعريف للمستوى اللازم توفره من التمويل للأنشطة الأساسية لكل صندوق وبرنامج وأفضل طريقة لتحديده، كل وفق ولايته؛

146. The governing bodies of the United Nations funds and programmes and other multilateral organizations, including the Bretton Woods institutions and international financial institutions, are invited to contribute to the implementation of the Programme of Action and to integrate it into their work programmes, as appropriate and in accordance with their respective mandates.
146 - وتُدعى مجالس إدارة صناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها وغيرها من المنظمات المتعددة الأطراف، بما في ذلك مؤسستا بريتون وودز والمؤسسات المالية الدولية إلى المساهمة في تنفيذ برنامج العمل ودمجه في برامج عملها، حسب الاقتضاء ووفقاً لولاية كل منها.

153. The governing bodies of the United Nations funds and programmes and other multilateral organizations, including the Bretton Woods institutions and international financial institutions, are invited to contribute to the implementation of the Programme of Action and to integrate it into their work programmes, as appropriate and in accordance with their respective mandates.

In that respect, he drew attention to General Assembly resolution 64/289, which invited the governing bodies of the United Nations funds and programmes to initiate further discussion with a view to arriving at a " critical mass " of core funding, and to report back to the Economic and Social Council in early 2011.

(a) Consider ways of promoting closer and more effective interaction between the work of the functional commissions and that of the governing bodies of United Nations funds and programmes and of ensuring that United Nations funds and programmes draw, as appropriate, on relevant policy guidance from the commissions;
(أ) أن ينظر في أساليب إقامة تفاعل أوثق وأفعل بين أعمال اللجان الفنية وأعمال مجالس إدارة صناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها، وفي أساليب تكفل أن تعِّول صناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها، حسب الاقتضاء، على التوجيهات ذات الصلة بالسياسات العامة والصادرة عن اللجان الفنية؛

(a) The Council may wish to consider ways of promoting closer and more effective interaction between the work of the functional commissions and that of the governing bodies of United Nations funds and programmes, and of ensuring that United Nations funds and programmes draw, as appropriate, on relevant policy guidance from the commissions.
