Our consideration of those fundamental principles should not divert attention to other salient issues, notably the pursuit of universalization, negative security assurances, withdrawal from the Treaty and cooperation in nuclear technology between States parties and non-signatories of the Treaty.
ولا ينبغي لنظرنا في هذه المبادئ الأساسية أن يحوّل انتباهنا عن المسائل الرئيسية الأخرى، لا سيما السعي إلى تحقيق عالمية المعاهدة، والضمانات الأمنية السلبية، والانسحاب من المعاهدة والتعاون في مجال التكنولوجيا النووية بين الدول الأطراف والدول غير الموقعة عليها.

Hence, in the area of peaceful nuclear technology we had no choice other than to work in various ways, including importing the necessary parts from intermediaries to guarantee the future supply of fuel for our nuclear power plants under construction.
ولذلك، لا يوجد لدينا خيار في مجال التكنولوجيا النووية للأغراض السلمية سوى العمل بشتى السبل، بما في ذلك استيراد القطع اللازمة من وسطاء، لضمان إمداد الوقود في المستقبل لمحطات الطاقة النووية التي نعمل على بنائها.

Despite our meagre resources, we have freely shared our experience in peaceful nuclear technology with other developing countries by providing experts, offering placements in concerned institutions and hosting training courses.

In our view, the Agency is succeeding well in carrying out its own particular mandate and we feel that the report for the year 1995, as well as the statement of the Director General that we heard yesterday, clearly show that all important facets in the field of nuclear technology are currently being covered by the Agency.
وفي رأينا، أن الوكالة تحقق نجاحا طيبا في الاضطلاع بولايتها المحددة، ويتضح من تقرير سنة ١٩٩٥، بالاضافة إلى بيان المدير العام الذي استمعنا اليه باﻷمس، أن الوكالة تقــوم حاليا بتغطيــة جميــع الجوانب الهامة في مجال التكنولوجيا النووية.

B. The maintenance of modern nuclear laboratory facilities and programs in theoretical and exploratory nuclear technology which will attract, retain, and ensure the continued application of our human scientific resources to those programs on which continued progress in nuclear technology depends.
باء: الاحتفاظ بمرافق وبرامج مختبرية نووية عصرية في مجال التكنولوجيا النووية النظرية والاستكشافية، تعمل على اجتذاب وحفظ وضمان تطبيق مواردنا العلمية البشرية على تلك البرامج التي يعتمد عليها استمرار التقدم في مجال التكنولوجيا النووية.

2/2. The Islamic Republic of Iran has, relying on its rights stipulated under Article 4 of the NPT made substantial progress in nuclear technology.
2/2 لقد أحرزت جمهورية إيران الإسلامية تقدما كبيرا في مجال التكنولوجيا النووية استنادا إلى حقوقها المنصوص عليها بموجب المادة 4 من معاهدة عدم الانتشار.

Secondly, the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that it is necessary to revitalize the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and, as I proposed earlier, to create an ad hoc committee to combat nuclear weapons and abolish the apartheid that exists in the field of peaceful nuclear technology.
ثانيا، إن جمهورية إيران الإسلامية تعتبر أن تنشيط معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية، وإنشاء لجنة مخصصة كما اقترحت من قبل، خطوة ضرورية لمكافحة الأسلحة النووية وإزالة الفصل العنصري القائم في مجال التكنولوجيا النووية السلمية.
