Qualified space weather experts and scientists from developing and industrialized countries from all regions were invited by the United Nations to participate in and contribute to the Symposium.
10- دعت الأمم المتحدة خبراء وعلماء مؤهَّلين في مجال طقس الفضاء من بلدان نامية وبلدان متقدمة صناعيا من جميع المناطق إلى المشاركة في الندوة والإسهام فيها.

Participants were selected on the basis of academic qualifications and professional working experience in the space weather field or the applicants' involvement in the planning and implementation of space weather activities of relevant governmental organizations, international or national agencies, non-governmental organizations, research or academic institutions or private sector companies.
واختير المشاركون بناءً على مؤهّلاتهم الأكاديمية وخبرتهم العملية المهنية في مجال طقس الفضاء أو على مدى مشاركة المتقدمين في تخطيط وتنفيذ أنشطة معنية بطقس الفضاء تضطلع بها هيئات حكومية أو وكالات دولية أو وطنية أو منظمات غير حكومية أو مؤسسات بحثية أو أكاديمية أو شركات خاصة ذات صلة.

Participants took note of the various mathematical models employed to analyse the data and the wide range of ongoing research activities in the field of space weather being conducted worldwide, as well as the availability of new data products.
51- ولاحظ المشاركون النماذج الرياضية المختلفة المستخدمة في تحليل البيانات والنطاق الواسع من أنشطة البحث المستمرة في مجال طقس الفضاء المنفَّذة على النطاق العالمي، وكذلك توافر نواتج البيانات الجديدة.

The Symposium was attended by 42 space weather experts from governmental and non-governmental institutions, universities and other academic entities from the following 13 countries: Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Libya, Malaysia, Rwanda, Switzerland and United States of America.
11- وحضر الندوة 42 خبيرا في مجال طقس الفضاء من مؤسسات حكومية وغير حكومية وجامعات وكيانات أكاديمية أخرى من البلدان الثلاثة عشر التالية: ألمانيا، البرازيل، بلغاريا، رواندا، سويسرا، الصين، فرنسا، ليبيا، ماليزيا، النمسا، الهند، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، اليابان.
