Within the United Nations El Salvador has shown its sincere and keen attachment to this principle, consistently supporting the resolutions of the General Assembly and the resolutions and Decisions of the Security Council condemning, and providing for measures to combat, interference, invasions by foreign countries, occupation and colonialism and demanding respect of the right of peoples to elect their own governments and to sovereignty.
٩- وفي إطار اﻷمم المتحدة، أثبت السلفادور تعلقه الصادق والقاطع بهذا المبدأ، إذ أيد بثبات قرارات الجمعية العامة وقرارات مجلس اﻷمن ومقرراته القاضية بإدانة التدخل، والغزو من جانب البلدان اﻷجنبية، والاحتلال، والاستعمار، وتوفير التدابير لمكافحتها، والمطالبة باحترام حق الشعوب في انتخاب حكامها وحقها في السيادة.
