2 - كانت الجمعية العامة قد طلبت إلى الأمين العام في قرارها 58/270 المؤرخ 19 آذار/مارس 2004 (الفقرة 25) أن يوقف إجراءات التوظيف في الشواغر الجديدة في وظائف فئة الخدمات العامة لفترة السنتين 2004-2005، باستثناء موظفي السلامة والأمن ومساعدي التحرير (مجهزي النصوص) في وظائف اللغات، وأن يقدم تقريرا عن التقدم المحرز وعن أثر هذه التدابير في سياق تقاريره عن الأداء.

As text processor posts only existed in the Department of General Assembly and Conference Management, the Secretariat had deliberately added the reference to those posts in order to impose its restrictive interpretation of resolution 58/270.
وبما أن وظائف مجهزي النصوص لا توجد إلا في إدارة شؤون الجمعية العامة والمؤتمرات، فإن الأمانة العامة أضافت عن قصد الإشارة إلى تلك الوظائف، بغرض فرض تفسيرها التقييدي للقرار 58/270.

Unified criteria for inclusion, evaluation and removal of translators and text-processors into or from the common roster were agreed upon at the coordination meeting of conference managers held in June 2009 and the standardized electronic template for quality control evaluations is in use.
