65 - وأوضح أن مراكز الأمم المتحدة للإعلام تقوم بدور حيوي في إبلاغ شعوب العالم برسالة تبين أهمية المنظمة لحياتهم، وأعرب عن تأييده لمقترح الأمين العام الداعي إلى إنشاء محاور إعلامية إقليمية، الأمر الذي من شأنه أن يحقق الدرجة المثلى من مساهمة مراكز الإعلام وأثرها.

77. His delegation supported the Secretary-General's view that the establishment of regional information hubs must take account of the views of Member States; close collaboration between those hubs and Governments should contribute to the achievement of the primary goal of information in the service of development.
