ونظرا لما ورد أعلاه، أوصي بأن ينظر مجلس الأمن في تمديد ولاية البعثة لفترة أخرى مدتها اثنا عشر شهرا، حتى 30 نيسان/أبريل 2009.

By its resolution 1903 (2009), the Council decided that for a period of twelve months the measures on arms shall not apply to the Government of Liberia and it renewed the measures for a period of twelve months with regard to all nongovernmental entities and individuals operating in the territory of Liberia.
