Also at its resumed sixty-second session, in April 2008, under item 126, the General Assembly decided to defer until its sixty-third session consideration of the report of OIOS on the audit of the management of special political missions (A/61/357) by the Department of Political Affairs (decision 62/545 B).

At its sixty-first session, the General Assembly decided to revert to the consideration of the report of the Office of Internal Oversight Services on the audit of the management of special political missions by the Department of Political Affairs of the Secretariat (A/61/357) during its consideration of the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2008-2009 (resolution 61/252, sect. VII).
