13. Under article 36 of the said Act, guardianship may be restricted by obliging the guardian to care for the juvenile in accordance with conditions laid down by the juvenile court, compliance with which is monitored by a probation officer or a social worker for a period determined by the court.
٣١- تلزم المادة ٦٣ من القانون المذكور بأن يتم الحد من الولاية بإلزام الولي برعاية الحدث وفق شروط تحددها محكمة اﻷحداث وتراقب تنفيذها بواسطة مراقب السلوك أو باحث اجتماعي ولمدة تحددها المحكمة.

Under article 90 of the above-mentioned Act, the juvenile's guardian has an obligation to cooperate with the probation officer in implementing the probation order in a manner conducive to the interests of the juvenile and must inform the probation officer of any change in the juvenile's conduct.
٠٦- ألزمت المادة ٠٩ من القانون أعلاه ولي الحدث بالتعاون مع مراقب السلوك لتنفيذ قرار المراقبة بما يحقق مصلحة الحدث وأن يخبره عن كل تغيير يطرأ على سلوكه.

227. The above-mentioned provisions clearly illustrate the role of the probation officer, who is responsible for supervising juveniles whom a judge has ordered to be placed under his surveillance in a natural environment for a period of time determined in consultation with the probation office in accordance with the juveniles’ social circumstances and the extent to which they might improve.
٧٢٢- مما تقدم يتضح دور مراقب السلوك الذي يتولى الاشراف على الحدث الذي يأمر القاضي بوضعه تحت المراقبة في بيئة طبيعية لمدة زمنية تحدد عن طريق مكتب المراقبة وحسب ظروف الحدث الاجتماعية ومدى تحسنها.

Article 39 of the Penal Code of 1983 states that probation officers shall be appointed by a decision of the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour and shall take an oath before the juvenile judge to perform their duties faithfully and honestly.
`4` كما ورد في المادة 39 من قانون الجزاء لسنة 1983 ينص على أنه (يعين مراقب السلوك بقرار من وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل, ويحلف قبل مزاولة عمله اليمين أمام قاضي الأحداث بأن يؤدي واجبات وظيفته بكل أمانة وإخلاص).

62. Articles 39 to 42 of the Act deal with the matter of probation officers who, after taking oath, are assigned by the judge to carry out the requisite measures relating to probation, social inquiry reports and conditional discharge, as well as any other measures taken in hand by the juvenile court.
62- ونص القانون في المواد ٣٩-٤٢ على مراقب السلوك الذي يعهد إليه القاضي بعد حلف اليمين القيام بتنفيذ متطلبات الاختبار القضائي، وتنفيذ متطلبات التحقيق الاجتماعي وكذلك الإفراج الشرطي، وأية تدابير أخرى تعهد بها إلى محكمة الأحداث.
