واجتمع في فيينا فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المفتوح العضوية المكلف باعداد مشروع اطار مرجعي للتفاوض بشأن صك قانوني دولي لمكافحة الفساد، وذلك في الفترة 30 تموز/يوليه - 3 آب/أغسطس 2001.

25- وعملا بالقرارين 55/61 و55/188، عقد فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المفتوح العضوية لإعداد مشروع إطار مرجعي للتفاوض بشأن صك قانوني مقبـل لمكافحـة الفساد اجتماعه في فيينا من 30 تموز/يوليه إلـى 3 آب/أغسطس 2001.

During the meetings of the Intergovernmental Open-ended Expert Group to Prepare Draft Terms of Reference for the Negotiation of an International Legal Instrument against Corruption, many delegations emphasized the importance of effective mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of a new convention.

Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 55/61, the Meeting of the Intergovernmental Open-Ended Expert Group to Prepare Draft Terms of Reference for the Negotiation of an International Legal Instrument against Corruption was held in Vienna from 30 July to 3 August 2001.
11- وعملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 55/61، عقد اجتماع فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المفتوح العضوية، لاعداد مشروع اطار مرجعي للتفاوض بشأن صك قانوني دولي لمكافحة الفساد في فيينا في الفترة من 30 تموز/يوليه إلى 3 آب/أغسطس 2001.

It also reviewed the draft plan of action against corruption, in the light of the draft resolution contained in chapter II of the report of the Meeting of the Intergovernmental Open-Ended Expert Group to Prepare Draft Terms of Reference for the Negotiation of an International Legal Instrument against Corruption (A/AC.260/2).
كما استعرض مشروع خطة العمل بشأن مكافحة الفساد، على ضوء مشروع القرار الوارد في الفصل الثاني من تقرير اجتماع فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المفتوح العضوية لاعداد مشروع اطار مرجعي للتفاوض بشأن صك قانوني دولي لمكافحة الفساد (A/AC.260/2).

Recalling its resolution 55/188 of 20 December 2000, in which it invited the Intergovernmental Open-Ended Expert Group to Prepare Draft Terms of Reference for the Negotiation of an International Legal Instrument against Corruption, convened pursuant to resolution 55/61, to examine the question of illegally transferred funds and the return of such funds to the country of origin,
وإذ تشير إلى قرارها 55/188 المؤرخ 20 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، الذي دعت فيه فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المفتوح باب العضوية المعني بإعداد مشروع إطار مرجعي للتفاوض بشأن صك قانوني دولي لمكافحة الفساد، الذي سينعقـــــد عملا بالقرار 55/61، إلى دراسة مسألة الأموال المحوّلة بشكل غير مشروع وإعادة تلك الأموال إلى بلدانها الأصلية،

In its resolution 55/61 of 4 December 2000, the General Assembly recognized that an effective international legal instrument against corruption was desirable; decided to begin the development of such an instrument; and requested the Secretary-General to convene an intergovernmental open-ended expert group to examine and prepare draft terms of Reference for the Negotiation of the future legal instrument against corruption.
1- في قرارها 55/61 المؤرخ 4 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، سلمت الجمعية العامة بأن من المستصوب اعداد صك قانوني دولي فعال لمكافحة الفساد، وقررت الشروع في اعداد صك من هذا القبيل، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يعقد اجتماعا لفريق خبراء دوليين - حكوميين مفتوح العضوية يتولى دراسة وإعداد مشروع نطاق مرجعي للتفاوض بشأن الصك القانوني المقبل لمكافحة الفساد.

Takes note with appreciation of the report of the Intergovernmental Open-Ended Expert Group to Prepare Draft Terms of Reference for the Negotiation of an International Legal Instrument against Corruption which met in Vienna from 30 July to 3 August 2001,2 as endorsed by the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its resumed tenth session and by the Economic and Social Council;
