١٢ - تحث جميع الـدول والوكـالات المتخصصة والمنظمات غيـر الحكوميـة علـى أن تواصـل مساهماتها المقدمة إلى الوكالة، وأن تزيد منها، حتى تخفف من حدة العوائق المالية الحالية وتساند الوكالة فيما يتصل باﻹبقاء على ما يقدم إلى اللاجئين الفلسطينيين من مساعدات تعد في غاية الضرورة والفعالية.

11. 14. The twentieth session of the Governing Council took note of these challenges and called upon Governments and other Habitat Agenda partners to increase their contributions to the Foundation and to give priority to non-earmarked, multi-year funding to support the Executive Director in her efforts to broaden the donor base of the Programme.

In that context, the delegations endorsing the statement expressed serious concern about decreases in contributions to the UNFPA budget and called on everyone to reaffirm their commitment to the ICPD Programme of Action and to the international goals and targets of the Millennium Declaration, including by encouraging donor countries to continue, and where possible increase, their contributions to the Fund's core and non-core budgets.

A delegation called for more donors to significantly increase their contributions to UN-Women, referring to General Assembly resolution 67/226 on the quadrennial comprehensive policy review of operational activities for development of the United Nations system, wherein the Assembly recognized the need to strengthen the predictability, flexibility and alignment of funding to strategic plans.
