" Executing entities " are organizations that meet the criteria set by the Board to access funding to implement concrete adaptation projects and programmes supported by the Fund, subject to such audit mechanisms and due diligence criteria as established by the Board execute adaptation projects and programmes supported by the Fund under the oversight of implementing entities.
" الكيانات المنفِّذة " هي المنظمات التي تفي بالمعايير التي يحددها المجلس للحصول على تمويل لتنفيذ مشاريع وبرامج تكيف ملموسة يدعمها الصندوق، رهناً بما يحدده المجلس من آليات لمراجعة الحسابات ومعايير للحيطة الواجبة تنفِّذ مشاريع وبرامج تكيف يدعمها الصندوق تحت إشراف الكيانات المشرِفة على التنفيذ؛

(a) The provision of sustainable, predictable and adequate financial resources, including the potential diversification of revenue streams, to fund concrete adaptation projects and programmes that are country driven and based on the needs, views and priorities of eligible Parties;
(أ) توفير موارد مالية مستدامة وكافية ويمكن التنبؤ بها، بما في ذلك إمكانية تنويع مصادر الإيرادات، من أجل تمويل مشاريع وبرامج تكيف ملموسة تكون قطرية التوجه ومستندة إلى احتياجات الأطراف المؤهلة وآرائها وأولوياتها؛

" Implementing entities " means the national legal entities and multilateral organizations that have been identified ex ante by the Board as meeting the criteria adopted by the Board, in accordance with decision 1/CMP.3, paragraph 5 (c), to access funding to implement concrete adaptation projects and programmes supported by the Fund;
تعني " الكيانات المشرفة على التنفيذ " الكيانات القانونية الوطنية والمنظمات المتعددة الأطراف التي يكون المجلس قد قرر أنها تفي بالمعايير التي اعتمدها، وفقاً للفقرة 5(ج) من المقرر 1/م أإ-3، للحصول على تمويل لتنفيذ مشاريع وبرامج تكيف ملموسة يدعمها الصندوق؛

It also discussed and conveyed the outcomes of its deliberations to the Board on issues identified during the project or programme review process, such as: definition of concrete adaptation projects and programmes; implementing entities fees; funding for project formulation costs; project or programme review criteria; review process timeline; and adaptation reasoning in projects and programmes.

In decision 1/CMP.3, the CMP decided that the Adaptation Fund shall finance concrete adaptation projects and programmes that are country driven and are based on the needs, views and priorities of eligible Parties, and that the Adaptation Fund Board shall be established as the operating entity of the Adaptation Fund.
(د) وقرر مؤتمر الأطراف/اجتماع الأطراف في مقرره 1/م أإ-3 أن يموِّل صندوقُ التكيف مشاريع وبرامج تكيف محددة تكون قطرية التوجّه ومستندة إلى احتياجات الأطراف المؤهلة وآرائها وأولوياتها، وأن يُنشَأ مجلس صندوق التكيف بوصفه الكيان التشغيلي لصندوق التكيف.
