Recalling that the Convention sets out the right of victims to know the truth regarding the circumstances of the enforced disappearance, the progress and results of the investigation and the fate of the disappeared person, and sets forth State party obligations to take appropriate measures in this regard,
وإذ تشير إلى أن الاتفاقية تنص على حق الضحايا في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري وسير التحقيق ونتائجه ومصير الشخص المختفي وتحدد التزامات الدولة الطرف باتخاذ التدابير الملائمة في هذا الصدد،

2- لكل ضحية الحق في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري، وسير التحقيق ونتائجه ومصير الشخص المختفي.

2. Each victim has the right to know the truth regarding the circumstances of the enforced disappearance, the progress and results of the investigation and the fate of the disappeared person.
2 - لكل ضحية الحق في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري، وسير التحقيق ونتائجه ومصير الشخص المختفي.

Paragraph 2 of article 24 of the Convention furthermore states: " Each victim has the right to know the truth regarding the circumstances of the enforced disappearance, the progress and results of the investigation and the fate of the disappeared person.
وبالمثل، فإن أحكام الفقرة 2 من المادة 24 من الاتفاقية تنصّ على أن " لكل ضحية الحق في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري، وسير التحقيق ونتائجه ومصير الشخص المختفي.

The Committee recommends that the State party include an explicit provision for the right of victims to know the truth regarding the circumstances of an enforced disappearance and the fate of the disappeared person.
33- توصي اللجنة بأن تدرج الدولة الطرف نصاً صريحاً بشأن حق الضحايا في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري وفي معرفة مصير الشخص المختفي.

The resolution also makes explicit reference to the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance and its article 24, paragraph 2, which sets out the right of victims to know the truth regarding the circumstances of the enforced disappearance, the progress and results of the investigation and the fate of the disappeared person and State party obligations to take appropriate measures in this regard.
كما يشير القرار صراحة إلى الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري والفقرة 2 من مادتها 24 التي تبين حق الضحايا في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري، وسير التحقيق ونتائجه ومصير الشخص المختفي والتزامات الدولة الطرف باتخاذ التدابير الملائمة في هذا الصدد.

48. Secondly, as to the right of victims to know the truth regarding the circumstances of an enforced disappearance, according to article 24, paragraph 2, of the Convention, the States parties are obliged to " take appropriate measures in this regard " , but are left free to make their own arrangements regarding the exercise of this right.
48- ثانياً، عن حق الضحايا في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري، تلزم الفقرة 2 من المادة 24 من الاتفاقية الدول باتخاذ " التدابير الملائمة في هذا الصدد " ، وتترك للدول حرية تحديد طرائق ممارسة هذا الحق.

Article 24(2) of the United Nations Convention on the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearances provides that each victim " has the right to know the truth regarding the circumstances of the disappearance, the progress and results of the investigation and the fate of the disappeared person " .
وتنص المادة 24(2) من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري على أن " لكل ضحية الحق في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري، وسير التحقيق ونتائجه ومصير الشخص المختفي " ().

43. The Convention on the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance provides in article 24, paragraph 2, that: " Each victim has the right to know the truth regarding the circumstances of the enforced disappearance, the progress and results of the investigation and the fate of the disappeared person.
43- وتنص الفقرة 2 من المادة 24 من الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية جميع الأشخاص من الاختفاء القسري على ما يلي: " لكل ضحية الحق في معرفة الحقيقة عن ظروف الاختفاء القسري، وسير التحقيق ونتائجه ومصير الشخص المختفي.
