In this regard, the Special Committee calls on the Department of Peacekeeping Operations to work with troop- and police-contributing countries in designing a visits system which would be mutually beneficial in ensuring a common understanding of United Nations-issued training documents prior to field deployment.
وفي هذا الصدد تهيب اللجنة الخاصة بإدارة عمليات حفظ السلام أن تعمل مع البلدان المساهمة بقوات عسكرية والبلدان المساهمة بوحدات شرطة لتصميم نظام للزيارات يكون مفيدا للجانبين في ضمان التوصل إلى فهم مشترك بشأن الوثائق الصادرة عن الأمم المتحدة في مجال التدريب قبل النشر في الميدان.

In that regard, the Special Committee welcomes the continued efforts of the Security Council Working Group to address the issue of cooperation with troop- and police-contributing countries and other stakeholders in the early phase of mandate drafting and throughout the entire life of the mission.

221. The Special Committee underlines the importance of the informal briefings and, in order to enable discussions with troop- and police-contributing countries, requests the Secretariat to continue to provide informal bimonthly briefings on the strategy in all its operational aspects.
221 - وتؤكد اللجنة الخاصة أهمية الإحاطات غير الرسمية، وهي تطلب إلى الأمانة العامة أن تواصل، من أجل إجراء مناقشات مع البلدان المساهمة بقوات عسكرية والبلدان المساهمة بوحدات شرطة، عقد جلسات غير رسمية نصف شهرية للإحاطة علما بالاستراتيجية من جميع جوانبها التشغيلية.

The Special Committee renews its invitation to the Special Representative to provide a briefing to the Committee on her work, prior to its next substantive session, and requests the Department of Peacekeeping Operations to invite the Special Representative to provide briefings at mission-specific meetings organized by the Department with troop- and police-contributing countries, as appropriate.
وتكرر اللجنة الخاصة دعوة الممثلة الخاصة للأمين العام إلى إطلاعها على عملها وذلك قبل دورة اللجنة الخاصة الموضوعية القادمة، وتطلب من إدارة عمليات حفظ السلام دعوة الممثلة الخاصة إلى تقديم إحاطات في اجتماعات خاصة بالبعثات تنظمها الإدارة مع البلدان المساهمة بقوات عسكرية والبلدان المساهمة بوحدات شرطة، حسب الاقتضاء.

In this regard, the Special Committee reiterates its requests to the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the Department of Field Support to outline the resource and capability requirements related to the implementation of mandates for protection of civilians, in consultation with troop- and police-contributing countries, so as to ensure an adequate correlation between mandated tasks and the resources provided to peacekeeping operations.
وفي هذا الصدد، تعيد اللجنة الخاصة طلبها إلى إدارة عمليات حفظ السلام وإدارة الدعم الميداني أن تحددا الاحتياجات من الموارد والقدرات المتصلة بتنفيذ ولايات حماية المدنيين، بالتشاور مع البلدان المساهمة بقوات عسكرية والبلدان المساهمة بوحدات شرطة، لكفالة التناسب بين المهام الصادر بها تكليف والموارد المخصصة لعمليات حفظ السلام.

The Special Committee urges the Secretariat to meet reporting deadlines and circulate copies of the reports of the Secretary-General in all official languages on specific United Nations peacekeeping operations and encourages the Secretariat to organize regular meetings with troop- and police-contributing countries, ideally one week prior to Security Council consultations on mandate renewals.
وتحث اللجنة الخاصة الأمانة العامة على الوفاء بالمواعيد المحددة لتقديم التقارير وعلى تعميم نُسخ من تقارير الأمين العام عن عمليات حفظ السلام بجميع اللغات الرسمية،وتشجع الأمانة العامة على عقد اجتماعات بشكل منتظم مع البلدان المساهمة بقوات عسكرية والبلدان المساهمة بوحدات شرطة، وأفضل وقت لعقد هذه الاجتماعات هو قبل أسبوعين من إجراء مجلس الأمن لمشاوراته بشأن تجديد الولايات.

The Special Committee welcomes the improvements effected by the Security Council in the holding of private meetings with troop- and police-contributing countries in a timely manner, and encourages those countries to participate actively in the meetings, including by providing assessments and feedback from their troops and personnel on the ground.
215 - وترحب اللجنة الخاصة بالتحسينات التي استحدثها مجلس الأمن بعقده لاجتماعات خاصة في الوقت المناسب مع البلدان المساهمة بقوات عسكرية والبلدان المساهمة بوحدات شرطة، وهي تشجع تلك البلدان على المشاركة النشطة في تلك الاجتماعات، بوسائل منها تقديم التقييمات والمعلومات التي تصلها من قواتها وأفرادها في الميدان.

194. The Special Committee welcomes the improvements effected by the Security Council through the holding of private meetings with troop- and police-contributing countries in a timely manner, and encourages those countries to participate actively in the meetings, including by providing assessments and feedback from their troops and personnel on the ground.
194 - وترحب اللجنة الخاصة بالتحسينات التي استحدثها مجلس الأمن بعقده لاجتماعات خاصة في الوقت المناسب مع البلدان المساهمة بقوات عسكرية والبلدان المساهمة بوحدات شرطة، وهي تشجع تلك البلدان على المشاركة النشطة في تلك الاجتماعات، بوسائل منها تقديم التقييمات والمعلومات التي تصلها من قواتها وأفرادها في الميدان.

In that regard, the Special Committee recalls the presidential statement of 5 August 2009 (S/PRST/2009/24) and welcomes the continued efforts of the Council Working Group to address the issue of cooperation with troop- and police-contributing countries and other stakeholders in the early phase of mandate drafting and throughout the entire life of the mission.
