13. Her delegation believed that many States parties had made little effort to pursue good-faith negotiations on general and complete disarmament under article VI. That aspect of article VI was often overlooked, even though the Treaty clearly implied that efforts towards nuclear disarmament should be linked to efforts towards general and complete disarmament.
13 - ومضت تقول إن وفدها يعتقد أن الكثير من الدول الأطراف لم يبذل جهداً لإجراء مفاوضات بحسن نية من أجل نزع السلاح العام والكامل طبقا للمادة السادسة. فهذا الجانب من المادة السادسة يقابل بالتجاهل في أغلب الأحيان رغم أن المعاهدة تنطوي بوضوح علي ضرورة ربط الجهود المبذولة باتجاه نزع السلاح النووي بتلك المبذولة باتجاه نزع السلاح العام والكامل.
