With regard to the format of the document, the sponsor delegation now favoured the option of annexing it to the resolution of the General Assembly on the report of the Special Committee, and the working paper had thus been modified accordingly.

It was later pointed out by the sponsor delegation that, owing to the lack of time at the current session of the Committee, such a thorough consideration of the proposal should begin at its next session.
وأشير مؤخرا من جانب الوفد مقدم الورقة إلى أنه نظرا لضيق الوقت في الدورة الحالية للجنة، ينبغي أن يبدأ هذا النظر المستفيض في الاقتراح في دورتها القادمة.

In the light of the comments made by delegations with respect to paragraph 1, the sponsor delegation observed that the proposed list of rights could be expanded to include the reference to economic, social and cultural rights.

84. In response, the sponsor delegation noted that the gist of the paragraph should be maintained while certain changes could be made to reflect the above observation.

The point was made that the sponsor delegation should follow the suggested procedure outlined in option (a) in paragraph 146 above.

They also expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the sponsor in reflecting the views of other delegations in the latest version of the revised working paper.

The sponsor delegation also observed that it would be appropriate to conclude the work on the draft declaration with a view to submitting it to the General Assembly during the upcoming commemorative session celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of the United Nations.
ولاحظ الوفد مقدم الورقة أيضا بأنه من الملائم اختتام العمل في مشروع الإعلان من أجل تقديمه إلى الجمعية العامة خلال الدورة التذكارية المقبلة التي سيحتفل فيها بالعيد الستين للأمم المتحدة.

The sponsor delegation suggested that the term " State " be used throughout the text.
