A number of provisions are contained in the Convention itself and in relevant decisions of the COP on communication of information on these matters.

97. The SBI recalled the importance of the provision of support in accordance with decision 1/CP.16, including paragraph 18, and other relevant decisions of the COP.

Often, however, the reports arrive after this deadline, which means that the syntheses and preliminary analyses prepared by the secretariat do not cover all the reports submitted due to the time limits for issuing official documents set by the United Nations General Assembly as well as relevant decisions of the COP.

The CTCN shall operate within its terms of reference and be accountable to, and under the guidance of, the COP through the Advisory Board in accordance with decisions 1/CP.16, 2/CP.17, 1/CP.18, 14/CP.18 and other relevant decisions of the COP.

According to the views expressed by Parties, and reflected in relevant decisions of the COP and conclusions of the subsidiary bodies, as well as in their submissions, the current in-depth review process has proved to be a useful and constructive exercise, and it is seen as an integral part of the process of the implementation of the Convention.

7. These, in addition to other matters arising from decision 1/COP.5 and other relevant decisions of the COP, have been taken into account in the provisional agenda prepared by the secretariat in agreement with the Chairperson of the CRIC.

9. It is proposed that guidelines are drafted on the tasks and reporting obligations of the secretariat based on the Convention, The Strategy, the report of the Joint Inspection Unit (JIU) of the United Nations and other relevant decisions of the COP.
9- ويُقترح صياغة المبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بمهام الأمانة والتزاماتها الإبلاغية بالاستناد إلى الاتفاقية والاستراتيجية وتقرير وحدة التفتيش المشتركة التابعة للأمم المتحدة وغير ذلك من مقررات مؤتمر الأطراف ذات الصلة بالموضوع.

These UNFCCC reporting guidelines on annual inventories cover the estimation and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals in both annual inventories and inventories included in national communications, as specified by decision 11/CP.4 and other relevant decisions of the COP.
6- تشمل هذه المبادئ التوجيهية للاتفاقية فيما يتعلق بالإبلاغ عن قوائم الجرد السنوية، تقدير انبعاثات غازات الدفيئة وعمليات إزالتها والإبلاغ بها سواء في قوائم الجرد السنوية أو في قوائم الجرد المدرجة في البلاغات الوطنية، على النحو المحدد في المقرر 11/م أ-4 وغيره من مقررات مؤتمر الأطراف ذات الصلة.

7. These, in addition to other matters arising from decisions 1/COP.5 and other relevant decisions of the COP, such as 29/COP.6, have been taken into account in the provisional agenda prepared by the secretariat in agreement with the Chairperson of the CRIC.

The SBI invited developed country Parties to further contribute to the LDCF and SCCF to support the activities for the preparation of the NAP process in accordance with decision 1/CP.16, including paragraph 18, and other relevant decisions of the COP.
87- ودعت الهيئة الفرعية البلدان المتقدمة الأطراف إلى زيادة المساهمة في صندوق أقل البلدان نمواً والصندوق الخاص لتغير المناخ لدعم أنشطة إعداد عملية الخطط الوطنية للتكيف وفقاً للمقرر 1/م أ-16، بما يشمل الفقرة 18، وغيره من مقررات مؤتمر الأطراف ذات الصلة.

56. Building upon relevant decisions of the COP, the recommendations made by Parties at CRIC 11 and the outcomes of the consultations between the Bureaux of the CRIC and the CST, the COP may wish to consider among other things:

The SBI further reiterated the request to developed country Parties by the COP to continue to provide LDC Parties with finance, technology and capacity-building in accordance with decision 1/CP.16, including paragraph 18, decision 5/CP.17 and other relevant decisions of the COP.
