50. Mr. Uzelac (Croatia) said that the French proposal addressed some of the remaining difficulties with the current proposal for article 17 decies.

53. Mr. Schneider (Observer for the Swiss Arbitration Association) said that it was important to clarify the relationship between article 17 novies and decies before continuing the discussion of the French proposal.

52. It was also unclear whether the grounds for refusing recognition/enforcement in article 17 decies, paragraphs (1) (a) (ii) and (iii), were to be removed or retained.
