In accordance with article 13 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal and further to the invitation of the Secretary-General, 34 States submitted a total of 64 candidates, although only 54 were required.
ووفقا للفقرة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية، وبناء على دعوة الأمين العام، قدمت 34 دولة مرشحين يبلغ مجموعهم 64 مرشحا رغم أن المطلوب هو 54 مرشحا فقط.

Article 13 and article 13 ter of the statute of the Tribunal, as amended, provide as follows:
فالمادة 13 والمادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة، بصيغته المعدلة، تنصان على ما يلي:

Articles 12 and 12 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal for Rwanda, as amended, read as follows:
وقد نصت المادتان 12 و 12 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية لرواندا بصيغته المعدلة على ما يلي:

6. Decides to amend article 12 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal as set out in the annex to this resolution;
6 - يقرر تعديل المادة 12 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية على النحو الوارد في مرفق هذا القرار؛

In accordance with article 13 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal, the term of office of the 27 ad litem judges so elected began on 24 August 2005 and will expire on 23 August 2009.
ووفقا للمادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية، فقد بدأت فترة ولاية القضاة المخصصين السبعة والعشرين المنتخبين على هذا النحو في 24 آب/أغسطس 2005 وستنتهي في 23 آب/أغسطس 2009.

5. The Advisory Committee notes that, under article 13 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, the General Assembly elects 27 ad litem judges for a term of four years.
5 - وتلاحظ اللجنة أنه بموجب المادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية ليوغوسلافيا السابقة، تنتخب الجمعية العامة 27 قاضيا مخصصا للمحكمة الدولية ليوغوسلافيا الســـــابقة لفترة أربع سنوات.

In accordance with article 13 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal, the term of office of the 27 ad litem judges so elected will expire on 11 June 2005.
ووفقا للمادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية، تنتهي فترة خدمة القضاة المخصصين السبعة والعشرين الذين انتخبتهم الجمعية العامة في 11 حزيران/يونيه 2005.

I would note that the list of 22 candidates is short of the minimum number of 54 which is required by paragraph 1 (c) of article 13 ter of the statute of the Tribunal.
وأشيـرُ إلى أن عدد المرشحين البالغ 22 مرشحا يقل عن العدد الأدنى الذي تنص عليه الفقرة 1 (ج) من المادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة، ألا وهو 54 مرشحا.

1. Decides to amend article 13 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and to replace that article with the provision set out in the annex to this resolution;

I would note that the list of 27 candidates is short of the minimum number of 54 which is required by paragraph 1 (c) of article 13 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal.
وأود الإشارة إلى أن القائمة التي تتضمن 27 مرشحا لا تستوفي العدد الأدنى اللازم بموجب الفقرة 1 (ج) من المادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية، ألا وهو 54 مرشحا.

I would note that the list of 33 candidates continues to be short of the minimum number of 54 which is required by paragraph 1 (c) of article 13 ter of the statute of the Tribunal.
وأود الإشارة إلى أن القائمة التي تتضمن 33 مرشحا ما زالت لا تستوفي العدد الأدنى اللازم بموجب الفقرة 1 (ج) من المادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة، ألا وهو 54 مرشحا.

25. Under article 12 ter of the statute of the International Tribunal for Rwanda, ad litem judges shall be elected for a term of four years and that they shall not be eligible for re-election (para. 1 (e)).
25 - وفقا للمادة 12 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية لرواندا، يُنتخب القضاة المخصصون لفترة أربع سنوات. ولا تجوز إعادة انتخابهم (الفقرة 1 (هـ)).

71. Under paragraphs 1 (e) and 2 of article 13 ter of the statute of ICTY ad litem judges shall be elected for a term of four years and they shall not be eligible for re-election.
71 - ووفقا للفقرتين 1 (هـ) و 2 من المادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية ليوغوسلافيا السابقة، ينتخب القضاة المخصصون لفترة أربع سنوات ولا يجوز إعادة انتخابهم.

I would note that the attached list of candidates is short of the minimum number of 54 which is required by paragraph 1 (c) of article 13 ter of the statute of the Tribunal.
وأود الإشارة إلى أن القائمة المرفقة تتضمن عددا من الترشيحات أقل من الحد الأدنى المطلوب البالغ 54 ترشيحا وفقا لما تقضي به الفقرة 1 (ج) من المادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة.

66. Under paragraphs 1 (e) and 2 of article 13 ter of the statute of ICTY ad litem judges shall be elected for a term of four years and they shall not be eligible for reelection.
66 - وبموجب الفقرتين 1 (هـ) و 2 من المادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة ينتخب القضاة المخصصون لفترة أربع سنوات ولا يجوز إعادة انتخابهم.

8. According to article 13 ter of the statute for the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, the ad litem judges will be appointed by the Secretary-General, upon request of the President of the International Tribunal, to serve in the Trial Chambers for one or more trials, for a cumulative period of up to, but not including, three years.
8 - ووفقا للمادة 13 مكررا ثانيا من النظام الأساسي للمحكمة الدولية ليوغوسلافيا السابقة، يعين الأمين العام القضاة المخصصين، بناء على طلب رئيس المحكمة الدولية، للعمل في دوائر المحكمة لمحاكمة واحدة أو أكثر، لفترة إجمالية تقل عن ثلاث سنوات.
