Thus, the Assembly explicitly reaffirmed in resolution 61/115 that the Palestine refugees are entitled to their property and to the income derived therefrom, in conformity with the principles of equity and justice, and requested the Secretary-General to take all appropriate steps, in consultation with the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine, for the protection of Arab property, assets and property rights in Israel.
وبالتالي، أعادت الجمعية العامة التأكيد في القرار 61/115 أن للاجئين الفلسطينيين الحق في ممتلكاتهم وفي الإيرادات الآتية منها، وفقا لمبادئ الإنصاف والعدل، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يتخذ كل الخطوات المناسبة، بالتشاور مع لجنة التوفيق التابعة للأمم المتحدة والخاصة بفلسطين، لحماية ممتلكات العرب وما لهم من أصول وحقوق في الملكية في إسرائيل.
